WWF SummerSlam -- 8/27/00
Steven Richards, Bull Buchanan, and The Goodfather (Right To Censor) vs. Too Cool and Rikishi
Steven Richards grabbed the microphone prior to the match and started to talk about Rikishi, but Rikishi and Too Cool interrupted him and made their way to the ring. Two of The Goodfather's former women came to the ring with them. The RTC attacked their opponents while they were dancing in the ring. They sent The Goodfather and Richards to the outside. Scotty 2 Hotty and Bull Buchanan were left on the inside. Scotty went for a moonsault, but Buchanan moved. Scotty then went to the outside and tripped up Bull. Scotty then nailed Bull with a cross body for a two count and tagged in Grandmaster Sexay for a double suplex.
The Goodfather came in and went for a kick, but Grandmaster avoided it. Both men were on the outside and The Goodfather threw both of the women to the floor hard. The Goodfather gave Grandmaster a Mafia-like kick back in the ring and tagged Bull Buchanan. Bull and The Goodfather gave Grandmaster double boots and Bull then gave him a back breaker. Steven Richards came in and gave Sexay a power bomb and a body slam. Grandmaster crotched Steven Richards on the top rope and gave him a superplex. Grandmaster gave Steven Richards a kick to the side of the head and tagged Rikishi. Rikishi took all of his opponents down with big right hands and clotheslines. Steven tried to run away, but one of the ladies sent him back in.
Too Cool drove their asses in to the torso of Steven, and then Rikishi did the same. Rikishi gave The Goodfather the Samoan drop and then took the scissor kick from Bull Buchanan. Scotty went for The Worm on Bull, but he took the Stevie Kick from Richards, allowing the RTC to take the match.

Clips of WWF Sunday Night Heat, in which Jonathan Coachman tried to interview Kurt Angle and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley individually, were shown following the preceding match. Clips of Angle walking in to Stephanie's locker room were shown as well. Also, Angle's kiss to Stephanie from this past week's Smackdown were shown.
Michael Cole interviewed Shane McMahon. Shane was about to talk about Stephanie, but he saw Steve Blackman, Shane's opponent for tonight, and ran.
The Road Dogg vs. X-Pac
The Road Dogg on the mic and said that everyone would know who the best man is after this match. He also spit some rhymes for the fans in North Carolina. The Road Dogg and X-Pac locked up and X-Pac tripped Road Dogg from behind and amateur styled him. Road Dogg applied a head lock and took X-Pac down with a shoulder block and sent him to the outside with a hard kick to the ass. X-Pac got back in and applied a head lock. He went for a spinning heel kick, but Road Dogg caught his leg and gave him a clothesline. X-Pac kicked Road Dogg down in to the corner and went for the Bronco Buster, but Road Dogg rolled to the outside. X-Pac and Road Dogg exchanged right hands and X-Pac applied a sleeper hold.
X-Pac went for a clothesline after the sleeper, Road Dogg ducked, but X-Pac nailed him with a spinning heel kick for a two count. He then put Road Dogg in the corner and gave him the Bronco Buster. The Road Dogg nailed X-Pac with big right and left hands. He then put X-Pac on the middle rope and drove his ass in to him before giving him a knee drop. Road Dogg went for the pump handle slam, but X-Pac countered and went for the X-Factor. Road Dogg countered that with a power bomb. Road Dogg went for the pump handle slam again, but X-Pac gave him a low blow and the X-Factor for the win. X-Pac then tried to bury the hatchet, but Road Dogg gave him the pump handle.
Winner - X-Pac
Eddie Guerrero and Chyna were shown talking about one of them becoming the Intercontinental Title tonight. Eddie said he wants what's best for Chyna. Trish Stratus was shown with Val Venis. She asked Val who he'd rather see in a center fold, she or Chyna. Val got very upset and told her she'd better do her part tonight.
WWF Intercontinental Championship Tag Team Match
Val Venis (c) and Trish Stratus vs. Chyna and Eddie Guerrero
Val Venis and Eddie Guerrero opened the match up and exchanged right hands. Val took Eddie down with a shoulder block, but Eddie tripped him to the mat and gave him a Northern Lights suplex for a two count. Val took Eddie down with a reverse elbow and then dropped an elbow and a knee on him. Val Venis then took Eddie down with a back breaker. Eddie held onto the leg of Val, Val spun around and Chyna gave him a clothesline. Eddie and Chyna then gave Val Venis a double flapjack for a two count. Chyna kicked away at the chest of Val and Val gave her a knee list and an elbow.
Chyna clotheslined Val again and Trish nailed her from behind. Chyna tried to pull Trish in the ring, but Val stopped her and kicked away at her in the corner. Val suplexed Chyna down hard and went for the pin, but Eddie Guerrero broke it up. Val Venis held Chyna up for a long body slam and then tried to drop an elbow off the ropes, but Chyna moved. Chyna gave Val a low blow and went for a power bomb, but Val gave her a back body drop. Chyna eventually got the tag to Eddier Guerrero, who immediately came in and began destroying Val. He gave Val a Frankensteiner for a two count and then drove him face first in to the turnbuckle, but Val dropped Eddie in to the buckle and gave him a power bomb. Both men nailed each other with cross bodies.
Val Venis tagged Trish Stratus and she came in for a two count on Eddie. She kicked Eddie, but he tripped her and tagged Chyna. Chyna gave Trish two clotheslines and a body slam. Chyna sent Trish to the corner, but Val pulled Chyna to the mat by her hair. Eddie tried to attack Val, but Val sent Eddie to the outside. Eddie pulled Val to the outside and Chyna gave Trish a gorilla press slam for the win and her second Intercontinental Title reign.
Winner(s) - Eddie Guerrero and Chyna (New WWF Intercontinental Champion)
Clips of last nights "Radio WWF" from WWF New York were shown. The clips included Mick Foley saying that he thinks that Kurt Angle is a man in love, Trish Stratus making an appearance, Foley dancing with Too Cool, Chyna talking about Foley's "worm," and The Rock singing "Smackdown Hotel" on the phone.
Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley was shown talking to some woman about kissing Kurt Angle. Stephanie said that she didn't kiss Kurt, Kurt kissed her, and that Kurt is a good kisser.
Jerry "The King" Lawler vs. Tazz
Prior to this match, clips of Jerry Lawler and Tazz's feud were shown. These clips included Tazz smashing the window of Lawler's rental car, with Jim Ross in it, Tazz saying that he would slap J.R. in the face but God beat him to it, and other various incidents. Tazz came out and pretended to be blind. He said he couldn't see J.R., but Lawler attacked him with a right hand. Lawler sent Tazz in the ring and gave him a drop kick. Lawler then gave him a clothesline and several right hands. The King body slammed Tazz and gave him a right hand from the middle rope. Lawler went for another, but Tazz moved and kicked and punched away at Jerry Lawler.
Tazz nailed Lawler with a hard right hand and a big clothesline. Tazz then raked at Lawler's eyes and sent him to the outside to the floor. Tazz taunted Jim Ross and Lawler attacked him from behind. Lawler nailed Tazz with more right hands and sent him back in the ring. Tazz gave Lawler a head butt to the balls and a body slam. He went for a move off the top, but Lawler moved and pulled off the straps on his tights. Lawler gave Tazz the vintage piledriver, but Tazz got right back up. Lawler was sent in to the referee and Tazz taunted Jim Ross. Tazz said he'd choke both of them out. Tazz then applied the Tazzmission, but J.R. hit him in the face with a candy jar to give Lawler the win.

Lillian Garcia was shown with Shane McMahon. She asked Shane how he felt about Kurt Angle kissing Stephanie, but Steve Blackman chased him out to the arena. Shane then waited for Blackman in the ring.
WWF Hardcore Championship
Shane McMahon (c) vs. Steve Blackman
Shane stood on the ring apron and Shane threw him the kendo stick, Shane threw it back. Blackman stood with his back to Shane and Shane tried to hit him with the stick, but Steve Blackman turned around and blacked it. They went to outside and fought in to the crowd, with Blackman beating the shit out of Shane. Blackman sent Shane McMahon face first in to a garbage can and sent him back over the barricade toward the ringside area. Blackman gave Shane a martial arts kick off the barricade and put some garbage can lids in the ring.
Blackman nailed Shane in the knees with the lids and gave him a hard shot to the back of the head with one of the lids. Blackman threw some cans and sticks in the ring. Steve Blackman put a garbage can around the head of Shane and beat on it with the sticks and a kick. Blackman lifted Shane McMahon up and slammed him down hard. He whipped Shane'O Mac from corner to corner and pulled him to the mat with a leather strap. He applied a half crab with the strap around Shane's neck. Test and Albert ran in and beat the hell out of Steve Blackman. Albert gave Test the Albert Bomb. T&A whipped Blackman in to a garbage can in the corner. They put a lid on Blackman and Test gave the lid an elbow from the top.
Shane opened up with right hands as Test and Albert held Steve Blackman. Shane tried to hit Blackman with a garbage can lid, but Steve Blackman kicked it back in his face. T&A took Blackman back down and Shane hit Steve Blackman with a sign. They walked Blackman down the aisle with a strap. They tried to drop a speaker on Blackman, but he moved. Albert accidentally hit Test with a kendo stick. Blackman grabbed the stick and beat on T&A. Shane nailed Steve Blackman and both men climbed the SummerSlam logo.
Steve Blackman repeatedly nailed Shane with the kendo stick and eventually knocked him off the scaffold, sending him 40 feet through a table. Steve Blackman then jumped off the scaffold and drilled Shane with an elbow for the win and Hardcore Title.

Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley was shown worrying about Shane McMahon's fall. Kurt Angle walked in and wanted to apologize for the kiss on Smackdown, but Stephanie was more concerned about her brother. Angle seemed to think that Shane just got the wind knocked out of him. Stephanie and Angle then hugged as Mick Foley walked in and asked if he was interrupting anything. Stephanie said no and Mick said that Shane landed on his "kisser" and he had to make sure if he was all right.
Two Out Of Three Falls Match
Chris Benoit vs. Chris Jericho
Video packages of the Benoit-Jericho feud were shown before the match. Jericho attacked Benoit upon entrance to the ring. Benoit opened up with several right hands, but Jericho came back with rights of his own. The men continued to brawl in to the corner and all three men (including the referee) fell out of the ring. Jericho continued to punch away at Benoit, but the referee stopped him. Jericho charged Chris Benoit, but Benoit lifted him in the air and drove him in to the ring post.
Back in the ring, Benoit applied the STF, but Jericho escaped and gave Benoit a catapult in to the corner. Jericho then sent Benoit down with a German suplex. Jericho gave Benoit a bulldog and went for the Lionsault, but Benoit got his knees up. Moments later, Benoit applied the Crippler Crossface to win the first fall. Benoit immediately attempted to apply the Crippler Crossface again and he did. Chris Jericho wouldn't tap out though. Jericho inched his way to the ropes and made it to break the hold. Chris Benoit kicked away at Chris Jericho and whipped Jericho in to the corner. He tied Jericho in the Tree of Woe and pulled at his neck.
Benoit sent Jericho in to the ring post hard on the outside. Chris Benoit sent Chris Jericho hard in to the ring post, shoulder first, inside the ring. Benoit kicked away at Jericho some more and sent his shoulder in to the ring post again. Jericho nailed Benoit with a big right hand and took him down. Jericho then gave Benoit another right and took him down again. Jericho went for a clothesline and Benoit gave him a German suplex and went for another one, but Jericho applied the Walls of Jericho to take the second fall and tie it up at one.
Jericho chopped away at Chris Benoit and nailed him with a reverse elbow from the top rope. Benoit nailed Jericho with a forearm shot to the back and went for a power bomb, but Jericho countered. Seconds later, Benoit sent Jericho down with a tiger suplex for a two count. Jericho crotched Benoit on the top rope and gave him a Frankensteiner. Chris "Y2J" Jericho went for the pin, but Chris "The Crippler" Benoit kicked out at two. Jericho sent Benoit down with several clotheslines and then a spinning heel kick. Jericho went for a pin, but Benoit had his foot on the rope. Jericho sent Benoit down again and gave him the Lionsault, but couldn't pin him because he hurt his shoulder. Jericho rolled up Benoit after punching and kicking him several times, but Benoit rolled the pin over and grabbed the ropes for the win.
Winner - Chris Benoit
Triple H was shown arriving to the building and walking through the door, as they once again showed the clips of Kurt Angle giving Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley a kiss on Smackdown, and giving her a hug tonight.
Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match
WWF Tag Team Championship
Edge and Christian (c) vs. The Hardy Boyz vs. The Dudley Boyz
The Dudley Boyz and The Hardy Boyz started brawling immediately. Edge and Christian got involved and then the chairs got involved. The Hardys used chairs on Buh Buh Ray Dudley, and then Edge and Christian used the chairs on both sets of Boyz. Edge got sent face first in to a ladder, and then Buh Buh Ray Dudley gave Christian a DDT and set up the ladder. Matt and Jeff Hardy power bombed Buh Buh Ray off the ladder and kicked away at Edge and Christian. Edge gave both Matt and Jeff a Russian leg sweep off the ladders.
Buh Buh Ray Dudley then gave Christian the full nelson in to an atomic drop off a ladder. Edge then pushed Jeff Hardy off a ladder, on to two ladders, causing one to fly up in to the face of Matt Hardy. D'Von Dudley gave Edge the head shot to the nuts as Buh Buh held him. Buh Buh told D'Von to "GET THE TABLE!" D'Von began bringing tables in the ring. The Dudley Boyz gave Christian the Dudley Death Drop through a table. The Dudleys then two sets of two tables up next to each other on the outside and Buh buh tried to power bomb Matt Hardy through them, but Edge hit both Dudleys with a chair. Matt Hardy then gave Edge the Twist of Fate and then a leg drop off a ladder. Jeff Hardy leap frogged over a ladder and gave Edge a leg drop.
Matt put Edge between a ladder and slammed the top half of it on him. He then threw Christian on top of the ladder with Edge in between it. On the outside, Jeff Hardy stood on a 20 foot ladder and went for the Swan Ton Bomb on Buh Buh Ray Dudley while he was on a table, but Buh Buh moved and Jeff went through the table to the floor. Matt Hardy gave Christian the Twist of Fate off the ladder in the ring, and D'Von and Edge fell off the other side of it and ladder and landed on the top rope throat first. Buh Buh Ray Dudley then climbed the ladder, but Edge and Christian pushed the ladder over, sending him through the four tables on the outside.
Edge and Christian began climbing the ladder in the ring, but Lita came out and pushed the ladder down, crotching both men on the top rope. Matt Hardy climbed one side of the ladder through and D'Von pushed it up from the other side, sending him over the top rope through two tables backwards on the floor. Lita then went to check on Matt, but Edge speared her. Jeff Hardy and D'Von Dudley climbed the ladder in the ring and they grabbed the thing that held the belts above the ring. Edge pulled the ladder away and they hung from it. D'Von fell, Edge and Christian threw a ladder at Jeff, sending him to the mat. Edge and Christian then climbed up and grabbed their belts to retain them.
Winner(s) - Edge and Christian
Triple H and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley were shown in their locker room. Triple H told Stephanie to explain her kiss with Kurt Angle. Stephanie said that Angle took advantage of her. Triple H said he didn't know what Angle was thinking, but she'd better stay away from him. She said she was knocked out, and that Triple H is the only man for her.
Thong Stinky Face Match
The Kat (with Al Snow and Head) vs. Terri Runnels (with Perry Saturn)
Terri took her clothes off as she came to the ring, leaving her in a bikini, until Perry Saturn covered her with a towel. The Kat then took the rest of her clothes off, leaving her in a bikini. The Kat gave Terri a body slam to open the match and tried to put her ass in Terri's face, but Saturn pulled her away. Al Snow then nailed Saturn, grabbed Terri by her ass, and sent her back in the ring. The Kat took Terri down by the hair and began spanking her ass. The Kat then kicked Terri in the corner and gave her the Bronco Buster. Saturn then shoved The Kat down and Terri gave her a bulldog.
The Kat gave Terri a clothesline and a body slam. She then tried to drop her ass on Terri, but Terri wouldn't let her. Terri slapped The Kat in the face and sent her in to the corner. Terri began to back up, but The Kat kicked her head first in to the referee's nuts. Al Snow then threw Head in and The Kat gave Terri a little head, and then put her ass in Terri's face for the win.

The Acolytes were shown at WWF New York.
The Undertaker vs. Kane
Kane came out in new tights and The Undertaker attacked him in the aisle way. Kane and The Undertaker exchanged right hands. The Undertaker pulled Kane up on the ring apron and tried to pull his mask off. Kane got very upset and opened up with several right hands. Kane brought a chair in the ring and The Undertaker opened up with several right hands to the ribs. The Undertaker continued to rip at Kane's mask and ripped half of it to pieces. Kane sent The Undertaker in to the steps on the outside. Kane then charged The Undertaker with the steps, but The Undertaker moved and the steps bounced off the ring post and nailed Kane in the face. The Undertaker then picked up the steps and threw them at Kane's head.
The Undertaker opened up with more big right hands, as Kane was busted open, and sent back in the ring. Kane nailed The Undertaker with a low blow and took him to the mat. Kane nailed The Undertaker with big rights of his own, but The Undertaker came back with a spear and several right hands. The Undertaker continued to pull at the mask, but Kane wouldn't let him get it off. The Undertaker kicked Kane in the balls and pulled him to the mat by his hair and completely pulled the mask off. The Undertaker then stood in the ring, holding the mask in victory as Kane walked away. Apparently, this was not a match, as the bell never rang.
Winner - No-Contest
Kurt Angle was shown making a call on his cell phone. Stephanie was shown talking to Triple H. Stephanie got a call and it was obviously Kurt Angle. Stephanie pretended that it was her mother, Linda, and Triple H wanted to talk. Triple H took the phone, but the person on the other side hung up when The Game spoke.
Triple Threat Match

WWF Championship
The Rock (c) vs. "The Game" Triple H vs. Kurt Angle
Kurt Angle came out and got on the mic and said that a lot of people were expecting an apology from him for kissing Stephanie on Smackdown. He said he would like to apologize for the fact that it did not happen sooner. He said that he did what he had to do and he is damn proud of it. Angle said that he gave Triple H's wife the kind of passion The Game could never give her. Triple H came out and attacked Angle.
Triple H beat on Kurt Angle with right hands and put him in the corner. The Game then sent the referee to the other side of the ring. Both men went over the top rope. Angle sent The Game in to the steps on the outside. Back in the ring, Angle charged Triple H and Triple H threw him to the outside and sent him in to the ring steps. Triple H and Kurt Angle went to the Spanish announce table. Triple H went for the Pedigree, but the table broke as he jumped up for it. Triple H pulled a sledgehammer out from under the ring and The Rock made his way to the ring as The Game waited with the hammer.
The Rock came in and opened up with right hands and elbows on Triple H. The Rock sent Triple H to the outside and Triple H dropped him face first in to the announce table as EMTs tried to help Kurt Angle. Triple H took The Rock down with a right hand back in the ring. The Game gave The Rock another right hand and kicked away at him in the corner. Triple H sent The Rock down with a reverse elbow as Angle was put on a stretcher and Triple H watched him get carried away. Triple H turned around and took right hands from The Rock. Triple H sent The Rock over the top rope and pulled Angle back toward the ring.
Triple H beat on Angle and Triple H went for a piledriver or a Pedigree on The Rock, but The Rock catapulted him in to a steel structure. The Rock nailed Triple H with a big clothesline and gave him a low blow. Stephanie came out and assisted Kurt Angle. Triple H sent The Rock thoat first in to the barricade and then gave him a clothesline. Stephanie came to the ring and Triple H told her that she was not supposed to be there. Triple H took The Rock down with a high knee. Triple H told Stephanie to get the belt. She swung, The Rock ducked, and she hit Triple H, allowing The Rock to get a two count. The Rock grabbed Stephanie by the hair, but Triple H hit him low and Triple H told Stephanie to go to the back.
The Rock took Triple H down with a flying clothesline, but Triple H came back with a neck breaker and brought the sledgehammer back in the ring. Triple H hit The Rock in the sternum with the hammer. Triple H gave The Rock a hard punt to the ribs, and then another one. The Game put The Rock in the corner and drilled The Rock with shoulder blocks to the body in the corner. Triple H went for a right hand, but The Rock blocked it. The Rock nailed Triple H with several right hands, but Triple H gave him a face buster.
Triple H sent The Rock in to the ring post hard and then got taunted by the crowd. Triple H brought The Rock back in the ring and continued kicking away at the ribs of the World Wrestling Federation Champion. Triple H sent The Rock in the corner and gave him some right hands and then The Rock opened up with his right hands. The Rock nailed The Game with a spinning neck breaker, but Triple H buried a knee in to the abdomen. Triple H went to the top rope and The Rock followed him and gave him a big superplex. Stephanie was shown with Kurt Angle. She begged Angle to help Hunter. Angle said he'd do it for her. The Rock pinned Triple H, but The Game kicked out at two and more than a half.
The Rock nailed Triple H with a belly to belly suplex for a two count, as Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley led Kurt Angle back to the ring. Triple H whipped The Rock in to the ropes, Angle tripped him, Triple H Pedigreed him, and Angle pulled Triple H to the outside and sent him in to the steps. Angle went for the pin, but The Rock kicked out. Angle gave The Rock a belly to belly suplex and got a two count. Kurt Angle opened up with right hands, but The Rock came back with a belly to belly throw and a DDT. Then the fans chanted Fred Cook! Kurt Angle then nailed The Rock with a right hand, Triple H got on the apron, but The Rock whipped Angle in to him. The Rock hit the Rock Bottom on Angle, but Triple H pulled The Rock off when he went for the pin.
Stephanie gave Triple H the hammer, he swung a right hand at Angle, but Angle ducked and Triple H nailed Stephanie. Angle nailed Triple H with the sledgehammer and went for the pin, but The Rock broke it up. The Rock sent Angle to the outside and gave Triple H the People's Elbow for the win. Kurt Angle then assisted Stephanie and carried her out.
