LILLY BETRAYS GOTTI AND
JOINS THE HOUSE OF PAIN
The events of Cyberwar are in the books, but questions remain and the full ramifications of what went down have yet to truly be felt. It was believed going in to the Loser Leaves SCW match that Gotti and Shannon Moore would have a decided advantage. They had not only Lilly but also Brandi Richardson and William Wealth III on the outside to run interference for them. The odds looked even better for them when word was leaked just prior to the show that Cham Pain didn't have a partner, as Shane Helms had been called up on business relating to the WWF/WCW relaunch. Cham Pain responded by bringing out Helms' former partner in the Serial Thrillaz, the returning Mike Maverick as his partner, but still was the worse for wear and was about to receive the TKO from Gotti when Lilly slid into the ring and low-blowed The Other Dark Meat. As Wealth, Brandi, and much of the crowd were stunned at ringside, Pain caught Gotti with the Pain killer to end his SCW career.

After the match, Pain called Lilly back to the ring, presumably to get to the bottom of the situation. Pain degraded Lilly and when she went to slap him, blocked the attempt and kissed her. Pain and Maverick were taking a final curtain call when Lilly got back up and low-blowed Maverick, setting him up for the Pain killer. With Maverick down, Cham Pain and Lilly embraced. Pain took the mic and said that he only took this match as a favor to Helms and he resented Helms no-showing on him. He said that from now on it is no more mister nice guy before leaving arm-and-arm with Lilly. The ramifications for the actions of these two SCW stars won't be fully understood until after HellFest and Independent's Day later this month, but this makes for one of the more intriguing new partnerships in SCW in recent memory.
