History Of TCW

The concept of TCW came up when Dave Woods (Heat) and Kevin Winterton (Omega) were at a party in April '99. The host of the party had a trampoline and they began trading off moves to each other. Within the next couple of days, trampoline wrestling was on their minds. Not long after that, Winterton bought a trampoline and began inviting people over to wrestle. Within weeks, TCW was born.

Woods made a World Title belt and an eXtreme Title belt. After the summer started, the original nine members of TCW gathered every Thursday. With the help of the man we call The Prophet and his cameras and editing equipment, three tapings took place. The TCW weekly show was named Chaos!

By the end of the summer, TCW was ready to hold its first PPV quality event. On August 25, 1999, Doomsday was held. The cameras were there to record every second of the action and all TCW wrestlers put on a great show.

TCW continues to hold shows to this day, although the roster has grown and we hold much better quality events.

TCW is based in the backyard of Kevin Winterton, located in Burlington, Ontario, Canada.
