The following interview is with former WCW and WWE talent, Lash LeRoux... I've personally have had the pleasure of seeing Lash in action live... From my point of view, Lash is a fresh face to wrestling... You see lots of guys who try to be "gothic" or try to be cocky, And all the other played out gimmicks that float around.. But Lash is a guy who just beams "fun." I find him very consistent and very entertaining... IPC prospects should take the following seriously as the Cajun one sits down with Indy Pro Central...

1. BIG BUMP THEORY-It's been established that most career turning points occur after a BIG BUMP .The big guys have a few hi lights in their career to look back on, Mick Foley can remember free falling of the hell in a cell, Tommy Dreamer can remember the painful days in ECW, HBK can look back on painful run ins with The Undertaker, etc)... Do you agree with this statement? And what would you suggest to someone ready to turn their career with a big bump?
No. I guess you could say I don't believe in the "Big Bump Theory." For every one wrestler that you can name who became famous off of one big bump, I could probably name five who became famous without needing it. Sure, there are times when a big match may dictate that you need to take that big bump because the crowd deserves the payoff (as was the case with Mick Foley's famous "Hell In The Cell" match). However, I think the majority of big bumps are wasted and only taken because the wrestler is unable to get a pop from the crowd by working a smart match. My advice to a young wrestler who wants to make a name with one big bump? Remember: you can end your career with one big bump just as fast as you can make it.
2. GIMMICKS- In the sport of wrestling we now enjoy, Gimmicks are a huge part of the industry... Whether it's talking in third person like The Rock or being dubbed "The Nature Boy," Gimmicks are almost the heart and soul of wrestling... What advice would you give to a young gun in search for his/her gimmick?
A gimmick HAS to be you being you. Take your real personality, up the voltage on it about 150% over the top, and that's your gimmick. The biggest thing is that if you aren't comfortable with your gimmick, then the fans won't be either. And they'll never buy into it.
3. PRESSURE- We all know there is a difference between entertaining 20-30 people in high school gymnasiums and the many thousands you find at weekly Raw's and SMACK!down's ... When you first stepped in front of a large crowd down in Atlanta- What went through your mind... And what was it, A Nitro... Thunder? Was it different than you expected? And finally, Was it easy to get used to?
Well, first off, there's no way you can "expect" what it'll be like. But, I think that most of the guys who are worth their salt as wrestlers, try to bring their "A game" wherever they are wrestling. With that being said, there is no greater feeling that wrestling in a major arena in front of 20,000 fans. The sad thing is, when you're doing it for 300 plus days out of a year, you sometimes take it for granted. But when it's gone you can't wait to get it back. There's no greater high!
4. On your AOL Profile... It says your employed by the World Wrestling [Entertainment] .... Can we expect to see you in the ring on TV any time soon?
I just haven't had a chance to change my profile from when I was working with them before. In fact, I forgot that was there until you mentioned it. LOL! Still, I am currently training like a madman trying to make another run there. Hopefully you WILL see me back on TV soon.
5. Have you ever thought of actually making a comic book series? Your drawings and cartoons are pretty cool...
Thanks for the props. Actually, I have worked on a few ideas. However, none have seen the light of day as of yet. I'm having more success just freelancing out to several magazines. In fact, I recently sold a cartoon to THE SATURDAY EVENING POST, which is HUGE in the cartooning world.
6. And lastly... The simple... GENERAL QUESTION you always find closing interviews... Is there anything you want to add to this interview? Shout outs... Cheap plugs.. etc..
Just my appreciation for all of the fans who haven't forgotten about me. I haven't forgotten about them, either. And, at just twenty-six years of age, it's only a matter of time before I'm back in the mix!
