Hello wrestling fans, and welcome to yet another Random Words with Big D! This time I talk about two major things going down in the Independent wrestling world today. But before I go on to that, I would like to say that THESE OPINIONS ARE ALL MINE, and if I offended you, you probably misread me. But I am not here to make friends, I am here to say what is on my mind so the rest of the world can see it, like it or not.

Recently there has been a lot of Deathmatches going on, something I love and respect, but a lot of people hate. One of those people are Jim Cornette, a guy you sorta have to respect for what he has done but a guy who went way out of line. He said that IWA-MS was pure garbage, they are all Deathmatches, and that Ain't wrestling. Well, I got some news for Jim, It hasn't been wrestling since the days of Lou Thesz. Funny he says this, after working for the biggest garbage federation of all time, that being the World Wrestling Federation (now WWE). Back then, I admit, they weren't bad, not bad at all. I loved WWF back then, but now it has come to crap and has made me branch into Indies for Wrestling Entertainment ... but back on track.

Before I go to far, IWA-MS has a lot of pure wrestling talent. Jimmy Jacob's, Chris Hero and not too long ago CM Punk- not to mention many others. But they do have Deathmatches, is that so bad? I mean, he likes Mick Foley, and would probably die for the chance for Terry Funk to work for him someday. So why is he hating on Ultraviolence? Because its barbaric....

Well, Jim, I hate to say this, but this is the wrestling biz. You know, when you dig really deep under the Glitz and the Glamour, you got a really barbaric sport. Where men come out and beat the hell out of each other. And really under all that glitz and glamour, you got the Indies and you have got Deathmatches.

Deathmatches are a bit, extreme. And they do resemble a fight you could go to a bar to see. But what makes a Hardcore weapon brawl different from what you would see a bar- is that these men are not trying to kill each other. They are just doing what any wrestler does, entertaining the fans.

I know I cant stand up for it, as good as some people can, because I am not the master of words. But I will tell you, there is nothing I love more then an Old School Violent wrestling match. That's why I love CZW, FMW, XPW (last time you will ever hear, love and XPW in a sentence from me) BJPW, IWS and countless others. Most recently I have came to love IWA MS as well, thanks to the CZW invasion. They have a lot of great talent, and should not be over looked by people just because they work death matches. Like I said they are not all blood and guts, "Come for the wrestling, stay for the light tubes" as Ian Rotten would say, and nothing could be more truthful..... well, actually for me it was the other way around, but who wants to piss off Ian Rotten?

CZW has been offered to go back to Japan again, this time for Zero One. In case you didn't know about their past experiences over to the Land of the rising sun, look no further then there BJPW Deathmatch title.

A few years back, when CZW just started really, they went over to BJPW for tours. Zandig, the owner of CZW was a mainstay in Japanese Deathmatches(wonder how many times I have said Deathmatch so far?) and got his federation a cheap and easy way of advertisement. Guys from there federation like Nick Gage, Wifebeater and Trent Acid all spent time in the orient during this time and gave them some much needed exposure as well. Making Nick Gage the future of Hardcore, Wifebeater a legend of Deathmatches, and making Trent Acid, probably the best non WWE/NWA-TNA talent out there! but eventually something happened, as do all good things, who's fault it really was is up for the fans to decide, if you're a CZW fan, you think BJPW screwed up and vice versa.

Now they are going to a new federation, not sure if it will happen yet or not. But they are going to a wrestling federation to start up a new Hardcore division, will it work out? I think so, but I bet by the end of the relationship, CZW will come home with yet another title belt.

Well thats all for this time folks, take care and enjoy the fresh air of summer while it lasts!

" I am more frustrated then a skin head watching the jeffersons! Now thats frustrated!"
