TAJ Escobar...A name synonymous with power, domination, controversy and savvy. TAJ, in his two years with IWA, has left his mark like no other. From winning numerous titles, to becoming owner and taking IWA to a new level, to ending careers, no one does it like Esco. Recently at Sun Burn we saw TAJ turn on two of his closet allies and join together with Chris Michaels, Chris Omega, and Pebbles, forming "The Collective." Now he sits down with his long time friend, Scott Siz to get the down and dirty.
Scott Siz: What's up TAJ...First question...How has your time been so far with IWA?:
TAJ Escobar: It's been a trip to say the least. It's been what? Almost two years since we got here in IWA...It's been one of the craziest runs so far that I've ever had in any promotion.
Scott Siz: Well TAJ, Sun Burn saw you turn not only on your fiance, Michelle, but also your long time friend KidNes, costing him the MMM. What are we to expect in the coming weeks from this new "Collective?":
TAJ Escobar: Ya know, I got sick of carrying these fools on my shoulders. So I set out to put together a "collective," if you will, of some top notch talent. Hence, you know how Chris Michaels, the World and US champion, Pebbles, the Womens champion, and the blast from the past, a member of the original Militia lineup, Chris Omega, and of course, myself. Things in IWA, well, their disgusting. So The Collective has been formed to put people back in check. Which is what we will be doing from now on.
Scott Siz: TAJ, there's been rumors flying around the locker rooms that now that you have an able force behind you, The Collective, you yourself may be stepping back into the ring...
TAJ Escobar: [starts humming a tune and hides some words in the hums] Next week on Suicide...
Scott Siz: Really...Well...If you could get into the ring with any IWA superstar, who would it be and why?:
TAJ Escobar: Well, there's that punk ass trick, Demonstrator, someone needs to put a lock on his mouth, and who better than me. But the only half way decent talent in IWA right now, other than The Collective of course...Is that niggah Rick Knight...so I'd say him, just cause ya know, maybe I'd break a sweat fighting him.
Scott Siz: Anything else you'd like to add to the fans or superstars of IWA?:
TAJ Escobar: Yeah, this is a newer than new fuckin era in IWA, an era of thing you have never seen before, and will never see again, an era of The Collective, the finest ensemble of talent this business has ever seen..so really, there's only one thing left for the rest of IWA to do...Break Yo Mothafuckin Selfs!
