GOODBYE MY FRIENDS

I want to tell you all a story about a man called Jim,
A good hearted Texan who decided to be GM,
And then one day he was told to pack em up,
So he came to Virginia looking for a little luck,
People that is, good ones, he found em,
Now along came three ladies that were wonderful to him
He could never do no better so you better be good to them,
Intelligence, good looks, and a personality,
What more could he ask for
How about Mike for company
Reinforcements that is, more men foke.
Now the next thing you know I called him on the telephone,
I asked him for directions and what was going on
He said to come on down and I'll meet you at the store,
I said I'd be glad to if you'll just give me more---
Time that is, I get lost alot you know.
Well I made it to the hotel and surprised myself you'll see
Because I'm lost alot and no one can find me.
I walked into the store and saw the trainer's smiling face
And I knew that this was it--
That Roanoke was the place----
The place to go, where people lend a hand, a helping hand that is
Now I'll cut my story short because I don't want to say goodbye,
To all the nice employees I have met and had the time---
The time to get to know you and the time to help you train,
Just remember me on Grand Opening
And don't forget my name,
Name that is,
Linda, --Linda Malcomb.
