While we lay sleeping in the night
God's Angels came for you
They softly touched your shoulder
Then told you what to do.
Fear not- for God has sent us
To meet your Dad once more
He's been patiently waiting
Beyond the Golden Door.
You left us all so suddenly
Our tears will ever flow
We know within our hearts
It was your time to go.
You was a wonderful daughter
You made your parents proud
You made a loving mother
You had a beautiful child.
You had a wonderful man
You almost was his wife
The family has fond memories
Of how you lived your life.
It hurts to know you left us
But I thank God above
That you have joined your father
The man I always loved.
I know you have no pain now
And there is no better place
Than walking with the Angels
And seeing Jesus face.
I'll say a prayer to help us through
The hard times still to come
Just give us strength and keep us close
Each and everyone.
We send our love and say goodbye
Watch over us each day
Until the time has come
For us to meet one day.
