A TRIBUTE TO SISSY AND HER FAMILY

We have put off writing this page because to be honest, we are not sure how to do it.  To say that someone is your bestest friend doesn’t cover the feelings that we have for Sissy and her family.  To say they are our bosom buddies doesn’t cover it either.  Trying to describe this friendship is not easy.  Maybe if I go about it in another way it will be better.

  1. Sissy and her family are sweet, kind, real, aware, complementary, good for our soul, good for our body, good for our lives.
  2. We know that no matter what they will believe us and help us and keep our darkest secrets.
  3. We can and do talk about anything and everything.  We love and we pray over the Internet.
  4. When we are down they are usually up.  When they are down we are usually up.
  5. We spend a lot of time preaching the same things at each other.
  6. We read each other like a book most of the time and very rarely have a spat, not even a spat, maybe a difference of opinion, doctrine, theory, but it never gets in the way or our friendship.
  7. We believe in each other and to be honest, sometimes we found ourselves saying, “now what would Sissy do in this situation”.
  8. It is not just our being multiple that brought us together, we were given to each other as a gift from God, because He knew that we needed each other to make it through all the hard times.

Trying to describe Sissy is like trying to describe a beautiful colorful sunset.  There are so many aspects to her and her family that are too beautiful to fit words around.  Sometimes trying to keep up with her is like grabbing the tail of a comet and holding on for dear life.  They can get in and out of more scrapes and problems than any thousand people we know.

To say that we love them is an understatement.  To say that we can’t live without them is a bigger understatement.

There is a phrase that describes how we feel about Sissy and her family and that is called agape love.  That literally means a love that nothing can destroy that is not warranted but given and that is forever.  It is the love that God has for us.  It is how we feel about Sissy and her family.

God Bless you my friends
Love forever and ever
