In The Little Mermaid
II, Morgana, sister of Ursula, almost steals the baby Melody from her parents, Ariel and Eric.
To protect Melody, she's told never to enter the ocean, but by her
12th birthday, she's been swimming there for years.
She discovers the magic locket that was to be her christening gift, which makes her visible to Morgana.
Morgana tempts her by offering her fondest wish, to turn her into a mermaid; however, to remain a mermaid, she'll have to steal the magic trident from King Triton (who, unknown to her, is her grandfather).
Meanwhile, all the sea creatures are searching for her. Along the way, she joins up with comic relief sidekicks Tip (a penguin) and Dash (a walrus).
When she returns with the trident, Morgana's evil nature is revealed, and there is a massive battle of good and evil.

Goofs
* When Melody is in her room getting ready for
her party, at one shot her hair is down. In the next shot of her,
it's in a ponytail, and in the next it's down again.
* In the scene where Ariel is calling for Melody
(after the florist has just dropped a flower), she turns to Carlotta
but Carlotta has already been stood there about 3 seconds before
Ariel wants to talk to her. It was as if Carlotta knew she was going
to talk to her even though she would have no way of knowing.
* When Morgana sinks Prince Eric's ship, he asks
where Melody is and draws his sword. When Cloak and Dagger (the
manta rays) pull him under the water, he no longer has his sword in
his hand.
* When Morgana traps melody in the cavern,
Flounder is seen in his younger size. The next time Flounder is seen
he is back in his adult size.
* When Ariel hugs the adult Flounder, his eyebrows
suddenly turn blue, then change back.
