I finally have some more litters due soon! I bred Brea to Aries on November 25th and she is due the 11th of this month. I also bred Lilo to Aries on December 5, and she is due the 21st of this month. I also have some new additions! I have two new breeding pairs of dwarfs, Tazmin & Kody, and Keta & Fizz. Both pairs should produce some mottled blues and blacks for me! And, after a long search, I have finally found a long haired black male Syrian. His name is Raven and he is so sweet and so adorable! Please check out the Current & Upcoming Litters page to see pics of my current dwarf babies available!

Well here I am again slacking off on this part of my site! Sorry everybody! Here's what's been happening: All of my Syrian pups are finally gone! It took me a while to get rid of them since I had so many! The next breeding I have planned is Aries and Lilo. Should get some very nice long haired pups in that litter, and they will be ready just before Christmas! On November 2nd I had the opportunity to go to a Guinea Pig show in NJ and met up with Mike from Emerald Mountain Hamstery in NJ, Nick from Liberty Bell Hamstery in Philidelphia, and Dave from Cheasapeke Hamstery in MD. It was a lot of fun, we traded some hamsters and chatted about hamsters, It was really great to get together with all of them for the day! Here is a picture we took of the 4 of us together.

I will try to update everyone soon about what is going on here!

Hula and Gretel both delivered litters on Sept. 11 as expected. Hula has 11, black and dove tris, torts, and dom spots. And Gretel has 10, cinnamon and dove tris, torts, and dom spots. Both litters and mommies are doing great! Cheyenne ended up having 1 cinn banded, 1 cinn DS, 1 cinn banded DS, and 2 dove banded DS's. So far no other breedings are planned, but I will keep everyone posted!

Well, Gretel never had the last litter. But I bred Lilo to Bronson and she had a litter on August 20th. She has 2 black tris, 1 black tort, 1 dove tort, 2 dove banded, and 1 black banded. I recently bred Gretel (to Bronson) again and Hula (to Oriole) and they are both due on September 11th. I also bred Cheyenne for one last time, and she delivered a litter yesterday (Sept. 6). I'll keep everyone updated on the new litters!

As you can tell by looking at the hamsters that I currently have, I have cut back a lot on my breeding. I would like to get much more selective with fewer animals. I might eventually go to just Syrians, but for now I still have 2 pairs of dwarfs. I bred Gretel to Bronson on July 13. They should have a very nice litter, and I will keep everyone updated!

Hi Everyone! Welcome to Woodview Hamstery, formerly Happy Critter Hamstery. Anyone who followed my other webpage nows that I didn’t keep up very well with this part of it, so I’m going to make that my goal for this new page. I will try to update every week even if not much is going on here! Please feel free to look around the new webpage, and please let me know what you think!
