My rantings, my ravings, my thoughts:

~10/18/01~

WOW! I haven't written in here in a LONG time, huh! What's new since the last time I posted? I got my permit on Feb. 23rd (which means I have to wait until Feb 25th '02 to get my license, bah humbug!), a couple babies were born to families in my church, the WTC towers fell, we launched missiles on Afghanistan and another couple in my church is getting married. Well, I'm babysitting at the moment, and don't have much else to say. Tootle-oo!

MAN, I CANNOT STAND THE LIBERAL MEDIA/LIBERALS!
Gore and his lackeys want a reVOTE in Wisconsin, because Bush won the state. If Gore had won, you can bet money there wouldn't be a revote! And, Gore actually sent HIS PEOPLE down to Miami to help with the recount. Yeah, how convinient. Man, I know we as Christians aren't supposed to hate, so this is a great test of my faith. He's such a lying snake--it's funny, since he even LOOKS like a snake! LoL! Dear God, please help me! I don't want to hate anyone. : ( And please be with the revotes/counts. I pray your will in them Lord.

W!

I told mom, WHEN Bush wins, if the baby's a boy, we have to name it Josiah Walker. Josiah is a name we already picked out, and Walker for President Bush. : )
One nation, under God, with liberty and justice for all.

Ooooh! I can't *stand* Gore! He's such a LYING SNAKE! God save us if he gets elected! He was on NBC tonight saying how he and Clinton have worked hard, and how the poverty rate in African-Americans is so low, etc. NEWSFLASH! The bills that have been passed that helped the African-Americans, were started during the *BUSH* term! Ahh!

My but did we have an interesting day today! Mom went into labor around 4pm, and had labor for over 8hours, but then around 1am, she went to bed and it stopped. A bunch of the ladies from church came over, but only Brenda, Lisa and Dee stuck it out til 1. ; ) LoL, mostly because Lisa and Brenda live a lloonngg way away!, and Dee would have left, but she fell asleep on the couch.
: D

Oooh, BTW, yesterday night was a BLAST! (As always, of course. :-)

"This is the day the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it."
I can't wait until tonight! Everyone at church is going up to Josh and Serah's for pizza and a prayer meeting. (Our "halloween ulternitive") It's always a blast! My brothers like the bonfire and roasting marshmellows the best, but I think my favorite part is being with my friends. : )

OMG, I couldn't believe it! This afternoon, we got a call from the Democratic Party and the lady on the phone started telling my mom all these "horror stories" about Bush's "record with children," then told her how great Gore is. My mom said, "Isn't Gore for partial-birth abortion?" The lady got all flustered, but answered, yes, he is. So then Mom asked, "Do you KNOW what happens in that process? The mother has to give birth to 70 percent of her *child*, only to have it's arms, legs, brain, etc sucked into a vacuum. I will NEVER vote for a man who endorces that!" The lady hung up. : )

But it's like, "Bush has a bad record with children? Oh, you mean the ones that are ALIVE?" I'm not even going to go into my opinions on abortion, it would take to long. Women's Choice, eh? Sure. Wonder how many of those now-dead babies were women.

Growing up is a lot harder at than people make it out to be, but then again, at other times, it can be simple. LoL, I guess "an interesting experience" would just about sum it all up. Half of the time I don't know what to think about getting older. A lot of things are new, like feelings, thoughts, dreams, etc. Good thing the process doesn't last forever, eh? : )

"I say this about coming on too strong with the Gosple: If you are old enough to get AIDs and addicted to drugs, you are old enough to get SAVED and addicted to Jesus!"--CARMEN

My "internal clock" still isn't used to the time change, although I did enjoy the extra hour of sleep. : D

Well, I'd better end this entry because I need to finish The Silver Sword (Angela Hunt, Heirs of Cahira O'Connor 1--VERY GOOD BOOK!) so I can give it back to Beth tomorrow night.

~10/29/00~

Well let's see, Bethi's here right now, and we're really bored, so I'm making a journal. Lots of fun! Oh yeah, we were just at Ben's site, and noticed the poor chap spelled "too" wrong, I must correct him when he gets
on later. : D

Ah, and speaking of Ben, he's still obsessed with the elections. But with good reason. It's really important that we get someone with values in office. :-\ On Friday, we (me, Ben, Danae, Jared, Sean and Sean's Mommy) went to the local Republican HQ to volunteer, but when we got there, we found out they didn't need anyone to work the phone bank or stuff envelopes. So we were pretty disappointed. UNTIL *da, da da! (insert music here)* Gus Bilirakis walked in and said he needed someone to walk the neighborhood behind the shopping center and pass out his political literature. So we did that! My big mistake was wearing really crappy sneakers, and my feet still kinda hurt. I'll get over it. We may be going back tomorrow, I hope! I hope!!! : )
