     C. P. Bonfoey is listed in the 1875 Middletown City Directory as the Secretary of the  Middletown Tool Co. West Corner of Butternut St. Making plane makers goods on Middlefield Road. In the 1882-85 directory Bonfoey is listed as a travel agent for the W. & B. Douglas Co.
