"A recent update" As of this summer (2002) I now work at these stations programming the computers and some minor DJ work. This is KUGR/KFRZ/KYCS's main studio and microwaver antenna that gets the stuff that is broadcasted to the (KUGR) antenna on the previous page, and the (KFRZ/KYCS) antennas on the Wilkins peak page. There are a few sat. dishes nearby used for the programing received (Art Bell etc). So, in all, there are three radio stations broadcasted from here. KUGR-1490 AM, and KFRZ-92.1 FM and KYCS-95.1 KUGR antenna power-1kW(D&N). KFRZ antenna power-90kW. KYCS antenna power is 100kw. This is one of the most "technologically" new stations as far as equipment goes. Everything is run from computers, and work that used to take hours now takes meer minutes. All of the programming that is played on the stations (news on all three, and the talk shows on KUGR) is received using the black sat. dishes you see above. Power and tower lighting is also controlled from here. This station is the only one in Wyoming using a special computer to recieve local/state-wide, and national news, weather, and sports scores.
