Religion

The Command Religious Program provides a variety of religious activities in support of all members of the U.S. Armed Forces, civilian components and family members.

Roman Catholic and Protestant worship services are available along with religious education classes for children and adults alike.

Other worship opportunities include: Living Word Christian Fellowship (which offers a Bible study and worship service), Maranatha Praise and Worship service, Islamic worship service and a Jewish worship service. Additionally, many Bible study groups meet at various times and locations in the local area.

During the summer a joint Protestant / Roman Catholic Vacation Bible School is offered for preschool children through sixth grade. Another program available for youth is Club Beyond. All children, grades 6 though 12, are invited to participate in Club Beyond. Club Beyond is a non-denominational Christian ministry sponsored by the chapel with Military Community Youth Ministries (MYCM). Its purpose is to work with chaplains in providing a Christian outreach program to young people of U.S. military personnel stationed overseas. MYCM is a project of several youth ministry organizations including Youth for Christ/USA, Young Life International and Catholic Network Ministries. The Club Beyond program's sole purpose is to provide wholesome opportunities for our children. Weekly club meetings, plus annual ski camps, beach camps, and service projects highlight some special opportunities offered by Club Beyond.

Volunteers are an essential part of the Command Religious Program. Their contributions are key to the realization of the mission of the Chapel. Volunteer positions are available in may areas.

There are several chaplains assigned to NSA who are available for counseling and sacramental needs. In case of emergency a chaplain can be reached 24 hours per day.

Many religious groups are available to you off base also. These include, Church of Christ, Evangelistic Ministries, Bible Way Family Worship Center, Sure Foundation Ministries, Abundant Life Ministries, Inc., Bible Baptist Church, Chiesa Christiano Evangelica, AGAPE Fellowship, and Naples Church of Christ.
