Work and Other Tediums

The To Do list evolves like a bad case of diarrhea-- you think you're done, and then there's more shit to do.

Overheard a woman on the telephone today saying, "I don't know what his problem is-- he doesn't like work." A common dilemma for the times.

The only people who like work are the ones who are getting paid (in lieu of getting underpaid), and even they don't really like work-- they just like having cash.

And who wouldn't like having cash, in this era where MBNA is best friend--the one you call in times of need.

There's an American anthem playing in the background. It's viscous and coagulated, like Cheez Whiz that's been on the shelves for too long. Anyone down for some nachos?
