Neta dos Ceramistas Italianos Eugenio Bonadio e Anna Santorio, Suzana conservou consigo a tradição pelo gosto e o interesse pela Arte do Fogo. Em São José dos Campos descobriu, ainda menina, sua vocação artística ao receber da mãe, Ophelia Fagundes
Bonadio, as primeiras noções de suas especialidades (pintura holandesa em madeira e óleo sobre tela). A iniciação profissional de Suzana na arte da pintura em cerâmica deu-se em 1971 e, já pintora, estudou com os conhecidos mestres Elcia Jardim, Margarida Montenegro e Djalma de Vincenzi, especializados em pintura clássica e óleo mole. Mais tarde, sob influência da professora Olívia Cook, rompeu com o estilo clássico, optando pela pintura moderna e freqüentou aulas no Pottery Shack Club, na Califórnia, EUA. Durantes os 25 anos de vida artística, Suzana teve seus trabalhos apreciados e adquiridos por brasileiros e estrangeiros. Algumas de suas peças são vistas, por exemplo, em vários países como França, Estados Unidos, Bélgica, Itália, Portugal e Argentina. Uma de suas novidade é a pintura sobre pedra, arte que exige criatividade, conhecimento e técnica apurada. Suzana, que está sempre à procura de novas técnicas, atualiza-se constantemente em seminários especializados no gênero. Mantém ainda um showroom com a mostra de suas peças, aceita encomendas e ministra aulas de pintura em porcelana, faiança, madeira e pedra. |
Granddaughter of the Italian Ceramists Eugenio Bonadio and Anna
Santorio, Suzana preserved the tradition for the taste and the interest for the Art of
Fire. In São José dos Campos she discovered, when she was still a little girl, her artistic vocation when
she received of the
mother, Ophelia Fagundes Bonadio, the first steps of her specialties (Dutch painting in wood and oil
painting). Suzana's professional initiation in the ceramic painting art was in 1971 and, already painter, she studied with the well-known painting masters Elcia Jardim, Margarida Montenegro and Djalma of Vincenzi, specialized in classic painting and soft oil. Later, under teacher's Olívia Cook influence, she broke up with the classic style, opting for the modern painting and she attended classes in Pottery Shack Club, in California, USA. Through these 25 years of artistic life, Suzana had her works appreciated and acquired by Brazilians and foreigners. Some of her pieces are seen, for example, in several countries such as France, United States, Belgium, Italy, Portugal and Argentina. One of her novelty is painting on stone, art that demands creativity, knowledge and select technique. Suzana, who is always in search of new techniques, is constantly attending specialized seminars in the filed. She still maintains a showroom with the exhibition of her work; she accepts indent and give painting classes in porcelain, "faiança", wood and stone. |
