March 7 - 9, 2001 Halfway though the busy week, Bessie finally got spring fever when she ventured to Kissimmee, Florida (just south of Orlando) for the Houston Astros & Detroit Tigers spring training game. The Tigers won, but so far have not made a habit of it during the regular season. Next up was a trip to the beach. Bessie was excited to brag of visiting both the Pacific and Atlantic oceans within the past 7 months. The next day brought a visit to the brand new Hard Rock Hotel and Universal CityWalk where she posed in front of the famous Universal Studios sign. Quite a busy week indeed!
