Site History

Well this is the History page and it will follow the epic story of my fledgling site all the way up to it's final moments in cyberspace.

-12-Febuary-2003- A Site Is Born!! father promptly drops it on the floor... ooops ....

-13-Febuary-2003- Trys to teach the site how to do frames, it all ends in tears.

-14-Febuary-2003-Trys again to get the page to do frames, but the page just pulls faces and refuses to help, father calls for backup from fellow nerd. No reply, so teaches the page, cascading menus, links history page.

-15-Febuary-2003-Finds out that baby page has saboutaged the cascading menus. And so decides that baby is ugly, gives it plastic surgery. Still doesn't like page, puts him in time out.

-18-Febuary-2003-Father creates better looking clone of baby webpage, works on it for hours.

-19-Febuary-2003-adds realy cool flying clock... "WHAT?" Eh? no no no! I said CLOCK!. Decides that baby webpage is crap and uncooperative, baby goes for swim in concrete shoes... Clone replaces baby..."Good Lord pagemaster! Concrete Shoes??!!!" ""good lord!" whats wrong with that?!" "So he is in the river?" "bottom of a canal... (thoughtfully) Auspicious Hunting Ground." "Damn Strait!!!" (this has been adapted from a conversation in "Tom Clancy's: Splinter Cell")

-23/Febuary/2003; Enough of this nonsense! Anyway, today, I added a "Plans for Global Domination page", and two sub pages. As well as A disclaimer, and I have downloaded an animation creator, so if I can figure out the apropriate html, expect animations soon!!!

-02-March-2003- Today, I experimented with animations, I also added the "all about the CON" page along with "Test your nerdiness" and "What Is A Nerd?"

-04-March-2003- This time, I added a "crazy" part of the page where I will add all sorts of weird and wonderfull things, I also battled furiously with a new "games" section (hope it works!), and added an ace logo, as well as linking everything... phew... oh yea, and I asked "Traffic Zap.com" to submit me to search engines, but their "process" page was a bit odd, and was invisible, so I only have a vague idea of what they are doing.

-12-March-2003- did very little.

-1-April-2003- Gave the site a complete overhaul makeing it the best site on the web..... APRIL FOOLS!!!! Well that sucked, actually I didn't even think about the site on the first of april, too busy avoiding people who were inevitably going to do something annoying and stupid followed by yelling "APIRL FOOLS!" as if that gave them a licence to be a d!*khead...

-14-April-03-added proffesional looking start page, updated hyperlinks inside page. Stared at games section... it stared back. laughed at my own jokes that I had forgoten about. Fixed problem with quiz: Antidisestablishmentarianism is NOT a flavour of coffee at Starbucks. Still can't fix problem with quiz that it adds up your scores from previous atempts. fixed a few typos. Yelled at webpage baecause the flying clock which made the page almost ok seems to have disappeared... Hacked?? I have no idea what is wrong, but I suppose it could be the horrific amount of lag from the Angelfire servers... err err I mean the horrific amount of errr (swallow) lag from errr (clicking from a safety catch) errr my err rediculusly oversized site err and it's rediculus amount of unnecesary data... yeah....
Oh yeah, incase you are wondering, TrafficZap told me to go and roger myself with a root vegtable of my choice because I have popup adverts, well it is not my fault, anyway what kind of a naff excuse is that I have popup adverts.. Wooptey-f**king-doo I'm a little minky common Pleb because I have commited the ultimate f**king sin, I have popup windows so I guess I will just have to go to h@!l because my site isn't fancy-f**cking-pants good enough for Traffic-r;g~ring-Zap and their "Lad-ee-Da Look at me I'm The Fairy F**cking Prince and watch me prance (prance prance prance) Look at my limp wristed glory and my obvious acesness which I won't taint by even considering helping websites with one or two popup windows whiuch don't even appear very often"

As you can tell, I'm a tad upset.

-18-April-2003- Today I added a cool begining movie and went to try and submit the site to search engines.

-19-April-2003- Today I worked on the site alot, I added a forum, a game "The Revenge Of Yar's Revenge" and got a new hit counter, enjoy!

-22-April-2003-Just tweaked a few things today!

-19-May-2003-added pages for future development, and sensored my site.

-27-May-2003-I've got a Drama Exam soon, but I love you guys so much that i am taking time away from my... err... endless... err periods of studying, just to update the site! Arn't you Lucky! Today I updated some of the All about the CON, I made profiles for Robert and Callum today!

-02-June-2003-OK! today I changed the awenser to a quiz question concerning antidisestablishmentarianism, oh and James, if you even thing about saying "I told you so" then I shall castrate you with a pair of very blunt, rusty, paper plates... ok!?!
Oh, and I changed the URL of this site, so you can now acces The CON at the much much shorter adress of http://www.urlcut.com/con thanks to the very good services of urlcut.com!

-22-July-2003- Hmm, haven't updated in a while... Sorry, if anyone out their cares... I may do some stuff with the profiles... if I think it might be worth it...

-22-July-2003-Ok so I got over my "don't care" reaction, and I have edited this very home page which you are staring at, and I have added the profiles for Me!!, Simon, and Heather: meaning now you can acess the profiles for: me! , Simon , Robert , Heather and Callum .

If you know your High Councilers list off by heart, as every CON recruit is required to know, then you would realise that David and Hannah still need to be done, well that is because after a boating accident 2 years back, I have a bad back and right now, it is giving me HELL! So I really can't stand to sit up strait much longer without my spine hemoriging(or however you spell it...) If anyone knows what that word means, then awensers on a postcard to:

To win absolutly nothing! except my gratitued because I know that a hemorich is bad and can kill you if it is in your brain and that it is rather painfull, I think it has to do with blood clotting... Well, thats what I get for not taking Biology...

-23-July-2003- This site is now officially in Version 3.0! this means there will be a big static picture in the title bar just like every other site, and that the index page has more importance since you can now view my site like it is some kind of fancy thingy in a mini browser!

-29-July-2003-Today I made a funky new page which has been in the pipeline for a while now, and indeed close followers of this sites history will find several mentions of it, I am talking ofcourse about the Nerd Super Weapons part of the page!! Which you can now acess here!

I've also axed the dumb mini browser, cause it sucked!

-28-August-2003- Ok I finally remembered to go back online, I've only done some minor adjustments today but Don't get all pedantic on me, the site still isn't quite finished and i still have work to do, be back soon.

31-August-2003-There has been a bit of a panic around here as it has come to light that David's site may have been hacked by some weirdos from Germany,see above, and note I have nothing against Germans("Just don't mension the WAR!") and I realise weirdos can come from anywhere (but mostly Japan...), I am going to go and revise Simon's profile, as it was a bit cruel... (But I LIKE IT!)

10-September-2003- Ok, I'm back, I'm sorry that I neglected this page a bit recently, I have been a bit preoccupied setting up the USSN site which is a joint venture between me, and fellow nerds David and Simon. Although I will try to keep this site up-to-date, please bare in mind that I have a lot on my plate at the moment and there will be times when I fall behind, just stick with me please!
