The Coven of the Lunar Spawn

Knowledge Brings Understanding

• The Coven of the Lunar Spawn does not now, nor will it ever have a leader, neither will the coven ever have any sort of hierarchy. All members are equal, and should be treated with the decency and respect that each one deserves. Members should use their own discretion when deciding who they should listen to and who they should learn from.

• The Coven of the Lunar Spawn will discriminate against no one. All those that are dedicated to the cause and purpose of the coven, and who prove themselves to be students of vampyrecraeft (defined by this coven as the many diverse vampyric spiritual beliefs) will be considered. Natural vampyres will be referred to simply as vampyres unless otherwise requested. Non-vampyres who wish to study vampyrecraeft, and who support the cause and purpose of the coven, will be referred to as neovampyres (unless another title is requested by the member [e.g. witch, werekin, angel, unknown, demon, etc.], in which case that title will be granted to them, within reason).

• Any vampyre awakened by a member of the coven will be offered the opportunity to be considered for membership. If they decide they desire membership, the awakening member, plus at least two other members of the coven, will decide if the potential member will be granted membership. This person will be treated as any other potential member, save for the testimony of the one who awakened them.

• Anyone who wishes to enter into The Coven of the Lunar Spawn, but is unknown to all its members, will be considered for membership by no less then three current members of the coven.

• For a member to be expelled from the coven there must be sufficient evidence that the individual in question is a burden to the coven; also there should be more or less unanimous agreement that the coven should abandon the individual in question.

• Exceptions to many of the covens policies and procedures will be tolerated within reason. The coven does not with to oppress or discriminate against anyone, and understands that there are times when special circumstances require special actions.

• As The Coven of the Lunar Spawn is without official authority figures of any kind, violations of the policies or purposes of the coven will be dealt with and resolved in whatever way the members of the coven find appropriate. Voting on what action to take will be used when appropriate, although members are free to resolve conflicts with as few or as many other members as they see fit.
