(Note: Achievement recognized at our Scout Shabbat)
Who? Any Tiger, Wolf, Bear, or Webelos

What's a Religious Emblem?: It's the ONLY Cub Scout patch which may be worn on a Boy Scout uniform other then the Arrow of Light. The Maccabee emblem is earned by Tigers and Wolves. The Aleph emblem is earned by Bears and Webelos.
Should I Register? YES!!! Space is limited. You must return the registration form below. For more information, contact Elliot Croll at at 203-432-0186 (day) 203-239-7372 (evening), or the Jewish Committee Advisor.
What if I'm not part of the Connecticut Yankee Council? Scouts from other councils are welcome to attend.
What should I bring? Maccabee emblem candidates need their Hebrew names and those of their parents and grandparents. Aleph emblem candidates need to attend six Sabbath services and write a brief description of three Torah portions. If you have not completed these requirements by January 7th, you may do so at a later date.
Directions to Congregation Or Shalom
Merrit Parkway Southbound: Exit 56 (Orange and CT-121) and go North for 0.2 miles, Turn right on CT-121, Grassy Hill Rd and go South for 0.2 miles, Turn left on Old Grassy Hill Rd and go East for 0.7 miles. You'll see the "Congregation Or Shalom" sign on your left. You've gone too far if you pass route 152.
Merrit Parkway Northbound: Exit 56 (CT-121 to Orange) go to end of off ramp. There is a traffic light. Go straight through traffic light onto Old Grassy Hill Rd. Go 0.7 miles. You'll see the "Congregation Or Shalom" sign on your left. You've gone too far if you pass route 152.
