Notes: It's the 4th of July in Jerkwater. Crowds gather along the main street waiting for the parade. Are those fire crackers that we hear? Good lordy - them is pistol shots! The Snodgrass boys are hittin the bank!

Title: The Red Offensive
Description: The Bolsheviks are sweeping up one town after the other. Can this one be resist them for long? Yet, the factories and stored supplies here make it a town worth fighting for.

This is the first in a series of games set during the 1861 actions to the east and south of Richmond VA, as George A. McClelland attempts to seize the Confederate Capitol. Only two things stand between him and the end of the rebellion - Robert E. Lee, and the Army of Northern Virginia

Title: The Hostile Shore
Description: The Whites are crossing the river in landing barges. The Bolsheviks must hold two towns, but they are not certain where the White troops will land.

Title: Crossin th' Crick
We fought a 25mm battle using the Rebels and Yankees of Jay Stribling and Robert Whitfield. This was an attempt by Longstreet's corps to make an opposed crossing of a small river or large creek. Opposing him are the Union II corps under general Hancock.

What about that archeologist and his expedition which rumors say is armed to the teeth? And those missionaries, will they resist the attackers, or turn the other cheek? With all those game masters, will there be enough gamers to play?

General Clinton begins the evacuation of Philadelphia, marching north towards New York City in a long straggling column. Can General Washington bite off part of this column? And if so, does he have enough force to chew it up?

Title: Forward Comrades!
Modern Army Battle in Central Germany set in the late 80s/early 90s. The Russians penetrated the American lines in the first battle. Now, can they exploit the breach? Would the French intervene? Or would they just announce that they would veto any warlike resolution in the security council? What if the Russians took Paris? Would the USA care? Perhaps I am thinking of a later war...
Rules: A variant of the old "Air Cav" boardgame rules.

Notes: Once again the machinations of the wiley Pathans set Indo-Afgan frontier ablaze. Who are the men who can put down these uppity tribesmen? None other than Lord Sterling and his trusty right arm, Brigadier Colin Campbell, recently seconded from the Sudan. Will the evil Khan Abbis be frightened into submission, or will the drums of war sound along the frontier?

Title: Swiss Revenge
Unpaid for months by the French King, the Swiss forces insist on battle NOW. They pick an area where there are several villages, reputedly wealthy and lunge through the imperialist lines to loot them. There are more imperialists, but what care the Swiss for numbers? All out attack is their creed. The rest of the French army must tag along with them.

Title: THE DRAGON'S GATE
The Time of Darkness is now at hand. The Forces of Chaos have Breached the Valley of Vernath and have made it to the DRAGON'S GATE. There is little time now for the Forces of Order to stop the Chaos Soldiers.

If it is not too late, perhaps the gate can once again be sealed. The Forces of Order will be arriving to shut the gate, while the Forces of Chaos struggle to open the gate.

Once again the Jackson gamers try to click those little 'thingies' on the bases of Fred's miniatures.

Title: Napoleonic Battle
A fictional game that puts the Confederation of the Rhine against Prussia. The scenerio is set after the four major powers of the Confederation, the Dutchy of Warsaw, Saxony, Bavaria and Wurttemburg drove the Russian out of Warsaw. After the victory they decide to liberate the Holy City of Berlin from Purssia. Prussia realizing the oncoming onslaught, calls back its forces from Saxony to defend the homeland.

Title: The Mexican American War
Rules: Brom Standard, with Mexican War addendum.
We will once again try the rules that we had so much fun with in 1980, when Eric Teuber ran the Mexican War campaign game. Each 20-man unit is a battalion, and 20 cavalrymen are a regiment.

There will be no open game scheduled for the 3rd weekend in December. Hobbytown will be crowded with shoppers and holiday preparations will consume much of everyone's time.
