Welcome to my very first and original website! To start off I would like to introduce myself, my name is Kelvin Hui and I am 18 years old, I'm the creator of this site. I must mention that I could have never done this without the invaluable assistance from my sister Kimberly, who worked hard on this for me. Thank you so much Kim for helping me, I appreciate it! Now I will answer the question that is burning in your mind, what is Kel Vintage? It is basically vintage Kelvin, this is essentially me. It is what I am known for, these are the things that I like or even love and I would like to share them with you. Celebrities, movies, novels, short stories, television, and reviews are the topics. You can read some short stories and movie reviews that I have written or check out what television shows, novels, or celebrities I particularly like. To conclude, I would like to say thank you for visiting my pages and hopefully you will enjoy the website enough to come back again.

The Links Page and Affiliates
Wow, I actually updated in less than three months...there must be something wrong. The reason is that I have just finished my first year of university; it has been a long and difficult journey but very fulfilling as well. I simply wanted to tell everyone that the Links page has been updated with all new buttons. They are awesome ones featuring the film Sin City and they were created by my latest affiliate, Kaitlyn. Please check out her Star Wars website If I Lived in Star Wars World, along with these other wonderful web friends: Sons of the Force, A Pink Destiny, and Erica World. Also, I joined two new fanlistings named My Sister and Little Sister, which features the character of Lucy Lane, who appeared on Smallville recently. Have you all seen the six new Revenge of the Sith television ads? There's Tragedy (heartbreaking and my favourite), Dark Side Unleashed, Teaser, Jedi Action 1, Jedi Action 2, and Unite. I can hardly believe that Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith will be released in less than 19 days! Check out my Movies page to see the new pictures that I have added to its gallery. I sincerely hope that everyone enjoys it; I believe it will be the best chapter in the entire saga. I will write a review for it as quickly as possible so check this website soon.

New Peter Pan Review, Vote Castor and Oh So Much More!
|
Wow, I can’t believe that this is the first update of the year 2005! Hopefully, it will be a great one as it has many further developments for the website. Firstly, it’s about time that I posted up a new film review and this particular one is special to both my family and I. It took a very long time, mostly because of university, but I finally completed my Peter Pan review and now it is ready for everyone to read! It is the longest one that I have ever written and it has the most images as well, thus I believe that it is very good. Please click on the image on your left to go directly to it. I truly hope that everyone enjoys it, especially those of you whom have seen this lovely and extraordinary film. It is now one of my all-time favourites; I have watched it seven times already! I have added a brand-new Vote Castor, which basically consists of all the Mini Polls compiled on one simple page. This makes it much easier for people who would like to vote on all of them at the same time.
I have also added three new polls, which ask the questions: Which of the following was the best film of 2004? Which one of the following films will be the largest and greatest motion picture in the year of 2005? In your opinion, what is currently the best series on television? Visit the Vote Castor page by clicking on the button to your left; it is located directly underneath Tell-A-Friend. Please contribute your vote to the new polls as well! It's been much too long since I last added a new film to the Movies section. Therefore, I have chosen one to spotlight and this is none other than Star Wars: Episode III ?Revenge of the Sith. I cannot wait for it to be released, please click on the link to read what I have written and there will definitely be many more images added to its gallery soon. Finally, we have several new affiliates including Law of Desire, Kristin Kreuk DE, Kristin Kreuk Net, LookingLost.Net, Internaspe.com, and Smallville Addiction. Let me just say thank you to all of these great sites, check them out now! There’s just so much to do and so little time to complete everything... I will try to update more in the future; I should have more time in the summer. Until next time, I hope that everyone enjoys the new additions to the website!

Silver Bells, Silver Bells, It's Christmas Time in Vin City!
Oh my goodness...it has been much too long since I last updated! For those of you asking why I haven't been around lately, let me answer with four words: I went to university. Trust me, being incredibly tired and busy does not help when you are trying to maintain a website. I just had to make one last update for Christmas and before the New Year though so here I am. Firstly I must mention that it has been confirmed, Katherine from Smallville: Field of Dreams is the best affiliate of all time! Click on the image to see the wonderful gift that she gave me, thank you Katherine! Now that I am on break I will work on the site a little bit more, I have so many film reviews to write and have been working on several for the past few months because they are taking me forever! Hopefully, these will be done in the near future...you know they won't be. Finally, I must wish my Aunt a very Happy Birthday! Also, I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year including my friends and family, especially my cousin Katrina who is celebrating her birthday on the 25th as well! HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAWINI! Have a wonderful time with your loved ones, appreciate the special moments that you share with them! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Kel Vintage Celebrates 1 Year Online!!!
|
|
I've been getting very excited about the event of the year, which takes place on this very day as I'm posting my latest update...Monday, September 27th, 2004. There'll be people cheering in the streets, waving flags, throwing confetti and celebrating this world-altering event...but enough about my website's first birthday! I am also quite thrilled about the release of the Star Wars Original Trilogy on DVD, which went on sale last Tuesday and the Season Premiere of Smallville, airing tomorrow night at 8:00 PM on Citytv. I imagine that I will buy these discs later on in life since I am really in no rush to obtain them, although I like the films and they should be even better when digitally enhanced. I am surprisingly eager to see the first episode of the fourth year, entitled Crusade. The fabulous promotional photos and posters that have been released in the past few days have produced so much buildup. I hope to have these in my own image gallery someday and that the chapter will be good enough to satisfy my expectations. I have had the pleasure of adding several more great affiliates to my Links page. These include Smallville: Town of the Weird, Once Upon a Time in Smallville, Fortress of El, Smallville on the TV MegaSite, and finally Carver's Mountain, a site dedicated to the new television series.
To be serious about my website, I am very happy and proud of myself for making it this far in the world that is the internet, which is such a wonderful medium. From the moment that I posted my first update, I have been looking forward to my one year anniversary so this is a great milestone for me. I can't believe that so much time has already elapsed, it seems like it was just yesterday when I was working on my site for the very first time. I would like to say thank you to all of the individuals who have supported me this past year, from friends and family to the awesome people that I have met because of Kel Vintage. If you'd like, you can always wish me a Happy Birthday by giving me a gift, writing in my Guestbook, or even sending me a message by e-mail, it would be greatly appreciated if you did so! Also, don't worry if it's late, I would still love to hear from you no matter how many days have passed by since the actual celebration. Speaking of presents, I must mention that I have received five amazing graphics made by my incredibly nice affiliates - Marie from Smallville: The Talon, Kara of Ultimate Galleries, Marc of ESP, Sam from Falling Into Darkness, and Katherine of Smallville: Field of Dreams. I have created a brand new page to showcase these wonderful gifts and you can go directly to it by simply clicking on the image to your left. It has been challenging, fun, and rewarding to maintain a website of my own, I am glad that I undertook this endeavor. Hopefully there will be many more birthdays to come in the future, I look forward to improving Kel Vintage so that it can be as good as possible!

Smallville: The Complete Third Season Review and Links Page News!
|
Wow, this is the final update of the summer, as always I can't believe that it went by so quickly! These past two and a half months have been fun, relaxing, and productive, especially in relation to my website! Firstly, I would like to tell everyone that I did indeed write an incredibly long and epic review for my favourite show of all time. It took me many days to finish everything but I am very happy to announce that it is finally done and I believe it's quite good. Simply click on the lovely poster to read it, I hope that you all will enjoy what I wrote about some of the episodes and learn something you might not have known about the series before! As for the Links page, I have created more buttons/banners for those of you who would like to link my site; these include ones of Britney Spears and Keira Knightley.
Also, I have several new affiliates, these wonderful websites are Seachin' My Soul, Dominate Your Destiny, Slytherin-Net, One Act in a Tragedy, Falling Into Darkness, and I am now listed at Coruscant Times, which is a neat Star Wars directory for sites dedicated to the films. I wanted to mention that all students are returning to school in a week or so and I myself am starting my first year of university, which is exciting. I hope that each person will enjoy seeing their friends again while making new ones as well, I have always liked school and I wish everybody the best of luck in the coming year. Lastly, I just want people to appreciate and like all of the things that I have added to Vin City, there will be much more to come in the future!

Two Film Reviews, Many More Affiliates, and Important Titles
|
Yes! I have an update for all of you, this time it only took me a couple of weeks to get everything up and ready! As you can see from the title, I have not only written one but two new reviews. Firstly, I posted my critique of Super Size Me, a documentary about one man who ate nothing but McDonald's for an entire month. I watched it back in May and actually wrote about it quite a while ago, I just felt that it was time to have it on my website. The second new review is none other than the most highly anticipated motion picture of 2004 and the movie event of the summer, Spider-Man 2. I believe that it is the longest one that I have ever written and hopefully it will be the best as well. Simply click on the poster to your left to go directly to the page where you can read what I think of the movie.
I have eight, count them, eight new affiliates: Sweet Moon Diary, DesiringHayden.net (oh my goodness, the best Hayden Christensen fansite that I have ever seen), Desktop Gallery, Ultimate Galleries, Screen Icons, Anakin and his Angel (the best Anakin/Padme and general Star Wars site), Epitome of Evil, and last but not least Star Wars Everlasting which is also very cool. It is such an honour to be affiliated with these websites, they are all great and much better than mine so make sure that you visit them all! I am also listed at The Directory and I just joined The First Kiss Fanlisting, which pertains to one of my favourite couples. I must thank my sister Kimberly once again for being such a nice person and helping me so much, especially in this section of my site. She deserves so much credit for getting things done quickly and for all of her friends who visit, tell her how good of a job she is doing!
Wow, since this update has so much to do with the saga, I believe that I should tell those of you who do not know yet, the full title of the third prequel and last film in the series. After years of speculation and wondering by fans, it was officially announced that it will be named Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith! Personally, I think that it's good since it sums up the plot nicely and it seems appropriate as to what we know will occur. Except for "of the" it has two new words which none of the other titles have making it somewhat original. When I found out a couple of days ago, it sent chills down my spine, I was excited about the film all over again which is both a good sign and feeling. The next title that I would like to mention is known as Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, the sixth installment in the novel series. I don't have much to say about it except for the fact that it sounds neat and I hope that the book will be great. Until the next time I update (whenever that will be...), I hope everyone will enjoy the rest of their summer and all of the additions that I have made to my website!

New Links Page, Harry Potter Review, and Yes, I'm Still Alive...
|
Wow, it has been such a long time since I last updated and I would like to apologize for that. A couple of months ago, it was school that was keeping me more than busy so I couldn't really work on my website too much. Then the day that I graduate secondary school (yay for me), my computer breaks down and I have to wait a couple of weeks before it is fixed. I am now simply glad to have it back and I have been adding many of the things that I have been meaning to for quite a while now. The first important addition to Kel Vintage is a brand new page entitled Links; this is the place where you can find the banners and buttons that I have created. I also have my affiliates posted on this page for all of you to see. Thus far, I have four amazing websites on this list which includes ESP, Smallville: Field of Dreams, Smallville: The Talon, and Virtual Limits. I have been continually working on this new part of my site for months and now it is finished which is greatly rewarding. Please visit it if you would like to link back to me or become my affiliate, just e-mail me and I will most definitely accept your offer.
I have also finally written my review for Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, the third installment in the behemoth franchise. Please simply click on the poster located on your left to go directly to my critique, I know people are dying to read it. I'm changing both many little and large things on my website when it pertains to the layout and content. For example, there will no longer be a Favourite Links box because those have been replaced by my Affiliates who I would like everyone to visit because they're great sites. Also, I changed the Quote of the Moment from one speech given in The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King to two that are said in Spider-Man 2 so check them out. I will update with more news soon because I always have more to add to my website, hopefully this time it won't take me four months to do so!

Many Changes and Improvements
Never fear, Kelvin is here! It has been too long since I last made an update hasn't it? Well I finally have one for you and it's quite large so be prepared. First of all I would like to quickly congratulate The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King for sweeping the Academy Awards, to be perfectly honest that surprised me. Yet it was a very fitting and nice way for the film to end off on so I was happy for everyone who worked on the picture. Moving on, let me just say that almost everything on my website has changed. I have been working on all of the pages for weeks and here is the result. For celebrities there is a new section entitled The List which is where I (surprise) list all of my favourite individuals in the entertainment industry. There will also be a picture of the person and an explanation of why I like him or her. For television, I finally created a profile for my second favourite show, Gilmore Girls. Click on the picture to the right to go directly to the appropriate page. There is also a new section at the bottom of the page called The Lineup which is basically a list of the shows that I follow currently and a star rating beside each one. For movies, novels, and short stories there is an all new section named The Archive. I will try to put all of the films, books, and tales that I have watched and read with ratings beside each title.
I wanted to make the list, lineup and archives since I cannot make a profile for every celebrity, film, and television show that I like. In this way I can still tell you what I think but in a much simpler way which is good for me! Please remember that these are all works in progress and they will always be changing as I add more so check back frequently. Finally, for reviews there will now be the film's poster beside its title with a little bit of my own information. This is just to make this page more interesting and eye-catching because it was just words before. There is now a new link in the Menu called Contact where you can easily write an e-mail to me. Also, underneath the Guestbook there is the Tell-A-Friend link so please do as it says and tell several comrades about my site, I would truly appreciate it! Once again, I must thank my sister who is absolutely great, she helped me post both of these things up. I believe that is all for now...as if that wasn't enough. I hope that everybody enjoys all of the new things on the website and there will be much more to come soon. Also I simply wanted to wish everyone a good March Break, I hope that all of you have fun and relax!

New Mini Poll, Quote of the Moment, Guestbook and more!
Welcome to 2004 everyone! Firstly I would like to wish a Happy Chinese New Year to everybody who celebrates it, I hope that you all had a great time! As you can see there has been a lot going on at Kel Vintage, especially to your left, simply scroll down and see all of the new additions. I added a Mini Poll where you can vote on answers to questions that I have so please do so but vote only once. For these, whichever page that you're on if you click refresh repeatedly or go to a new page, the poll will change into a new one until you reach the original again. The Quote of the Moment is just a fun place for me to place quotes from television, films, or books that I particularly like. I finally have a Guestbook for individuals that would like to write to me and tell me what they think.
If you have any suggestions for quotes or mini polls, just write them in your entry and post it on the guestbook, I'll be sure to put it up. I have new title images for my movies and T.V show so make sure that you see them. I also posted five new pictures for The Return of the King, I thought that these were good photos that everyone should take a look at. Speaking of the movie, there's been some really exciting news about it. It received 11, count them, 11 Academy Award nominations! I was actually a little bit surprised to be truthful but it deserves it, this movie will win Best Picture and Director for sure...I hope...If you would like to see all of the other nominations, then simply click on the image to the right. Several days ago I hit a milestone, 1000 visitors! (Yes, 995 of those hits are mine.) Thank you to the people who have visited the website, I truly appreciate it!

Movies, Television, and Links Oh My!
I believe that this update (the last one of the year 2003) is awesome because I'm very proud of the work that I have done thus far. First of all I must once again say thank you to my sister Kimberly who helped me greatly with these new updates, you're an awesome sister Kim! I watched The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King with my sister and two very good friends, Ben and Murray which made it a fun experience. I wrote one of the longest and best reviews for it so please read it to see what I thought. Speaking of reviews I have a whole new section just for my written pieces because I wanted to make them more prominent. The original reason why I created a website was to display my reviews of films, it just turned into a much larger and ambitious site.
I added not one but two new profiles to the movies section, Spider-Man 2 and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
Have you seen the new teaser trailers for these two films? Both of them were just absolutely fantastic and definately make me want to watch the movies, I am truly looking forward to doing so. I have new pictures for all three films and I hope that you enjoy them because I only put up photos that I personally like. I didn't forget about my favourite show Smallville either as there are new links and an all new image gallery for your viewing pleasure. I finally put up all of my favourite websites which are located to your left and you can visit them with the click of your mouse. I would just like to wish everyone a Happy New Year, I hope that 2004 will be prosperous for everybody especially my friends and family.

HUGE News and Updates!
Finally! There is a new update made by the actual owner of this website. I would firstly like to say thank you to all the people who have visited Kel Vintage, I appreciate it very much so keep checking back often for news. As you can see there have been many big changes made to Vin City and I must say that I like the new layout, I believe that it's two times better than my old one. I also put multiple pictures in galleries for your viewing pleasure so I hope that everybody likes it, there will be many more additions made to my site soon. There are so many things that I could do like add a guestbook, fonts, effects, more movies, novels, and celebrities, I'll be sure to do so. So far Smallville, Gilmore Girls, Justice League, and X-Men: Evolution have been good in their new episodes. There are a lot of good movies out right now like The Last Samurai, Peter Pan, Cheaper by the Dozen, Cold Mountain, Big Fish, and of course The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King so go watch these. Lastly I would just like to say Merry Christmas to one and all, I hope that everyone has a happy holiday with their friends and families!

All New Counter!
Wow, I really did not believe that I would be making an update so quickly even if it is a very small one. As you can see from the title, I have just added this so I can keep track of how many times people have visited my website. This counter is probably going to make me feel bad in the near future since there likely won't be many individuals visiting my site but oh well. Hopefully there will be more updates coming soon!

Grand Opening!!!
Finally! My website is complete and finished...for now. Originally I planned to have my site up and running by the beginning of the school year which was September 3rd for me, as you can see I'm a little bit late! I'm always underestimating the time it will take me to do something...vintage Kelvin. It was a long and difficult process creating and doing everything but I'm very happy that I did, I truly like the website. I have a new respect and appreciation for individuals who work on sites especially if they're good, it takes a lot of hard work and dedication. Right now Kel Vintage is done and I hope that you enjoy the pages and everything that is on them. Of course like every other website I will be adding more to mine making it better and more complete. Hopefully I will update every so often although mind you I have school and other endeavors so don't blame me if there are no updates for a while. Anyhow I hope that you enjoy the website as it is now, I worked very hard on it and I hope you appreciate that fact.
