“Why aren't the best- rated Home Drinking Water filters sold in stores?”
Answer: Because they don't sell! People don't know how to tell what is
effective-- and don't understand why they should pay for something more-- when they don't know the difference between superior and inferior products-- they just grab what is quick and cheap.
How do i know a quality Drinking Water System?
A UL/ NSF listing is found on the most reliable and effective drinking water products.
NSF is a not- for-profit company that tests drinking water systems, and their certification is recommended by the E.P.A. * It tells you that the product's literature and testing is legitimate and truthful.
* NSF's less stringent listing does not include contaminants of health concerns, but we sell only products that meet or exceed the most stringent listing. which includes:
What you should look for:
1. The NSF seal on the product and its literature. &
2. A listing of the contaminants that are reduced and
3. What the life of the filter is (# of gallons capacity)
4. *³ NSF Standard 53 is the better listing-- for removal of contaminants of health concern; other listings are for taste and odor only.
How the filter works
Multipure uses a solid carbon block to force the water through, not around, the media, filtering it to a sub-micron size.
But you don't even have to understand this if you let the experts—the UL/NSF listings* do the work for you!
