Here are the news and notes for Sunday, October 8, 2000. It is now expected that some of the biggest names in the Halloween Foosball Tournament will take part in a bowling exhibition at Brunswick today. In addition to that, if you want to look around the site today we have a few polls up. On the 2000 Preview page, we have a poll asking you who will win the Halloween Foosball Tournament, the Through the Years section has a poll asking you who the greatest Halloween Foosball champion ever was. Also check out the poll on a new page dedicated to some of the biggest rivalries throughout the years, thats currently located in the 2000 preview section as well. So look around, there's sure to be quite a few more polls to be put up within the three weeks we have to go. Also if you want to hear what the defending champion Steve has to say, look at his new online column . Steve will be writing guest commentaries in the weeks leading up and it is rumored that Greg may too. Steve tackles several issues including the infamous James Higson/Goldfish episode. I'm going to also talk about that issue in greater detail in my column coming up in the next couple of days called "lucky" which will be right here in the latest news section.
