Bored out of your mind or you just can't read enough Harry Potter but JKR is taking too long to get the next book out, well read some other people's versions of the future and past Harry Potter to keep your mind at ease.
Fanfiction.net
A very diverse site, but without restrictions (minus the no NC-17) you do have to sift to find some really good fics.
Fiction Alley
With the use of betas and very thorough proofreading, it is much easier to find brilliantly written and well plotted fics. La creme de la creme of fics if you will.
Side Note: Narcissa and Michele both have fics published on this site (amazingly - for Michele's anyway) if you would like to read them, SilverSnakeGirl is Narcissa's alias and SilverSilence is Michele's.

The Restricted Section
Like it's name, The Restricted Section deals with the darker fics, and has an age limit entering.
Adult Fanfiction.net
Like The Restricted Section, Adult Fanfiction is for (as it's name states) Adults. Nearly all stories have an R or NC-17 rating, so if this is not your taste, stay away.

Artistic Alley
Unfortunately, the work on Artistic Alley isn't as checked as the fics on it's partner FictionAlley, so it may take a while to find good artwork, but when you do, it is worth it.
Hocus Pocus
Lots of artwork by the very talented Edward Juan. Permission must be given before artwork is taken from this site.
Pheonix Tears
Another FanArt site where all work is submitted so you get lots of different styles from lots of different artists.
