The birds flitter to my door,
They raid my wreath for their nest;
Jonquils dance as breezes blow,
Spring is in the air and there is no rest.

Spring rains and the sunshine,
Help plants and the grass to grow;
Before we all know it,
Our lawns we'll have to mow.

Tulips and Iris grow rather fast,
Forsythia bushes are in full bloom;
Yes, spring is in the air,
And it dispels rainy day gloom.

Redbuds are about to burst,
As we plant flowers in the spring;
Trees slowly dress in green,
As birds chirp and cheerfully sing.

People walk along the paths,
Fresh air and sun they seek;
Exercise again is enjoyed,
As it strengthens bodies weak.

Spring is definitely in the air,
Love and new life are all around;
Attitudes will greatly improve,
And smiles will replace the frowns.
