crap-o-phonic- (krap-O-fon-ik) – n. 1. lo-fi independent pop music created by the crap-o-phonic corporation for public consumption. 2. music that sounds like crap, but still is listenable and enjoyable. adj. 1. instantaneous, without warning, as in music.

Band has existed since when?

Well, we don’t want to go back that far, but the crap-o-phonic we know and love today came into existence in November of 2000, with the arrival of a package from Germany.
The kindly fed-ex deliveryman came to the door, said “here’s your crap-o-phonic, sir,” and crept along on his way into the magical world of fed-ex deliverymen.
I struggled with the package up the half flight of steps, took a key to the impeding, transparent tape, and out burst a swarm of dizzyingly revolving wave patterns.
I'd taken lessons earlier in the month on taming these ferocious creatures, and within weeks began to domesticate them and give them cutesy little pet names.
There are several thousand more of these naughty little nasties still hiding in the corners, cracks and crevices of my ultra-rural hideaway, but the ones that I’ve managed to convert into house pets each have their own miniaturized domains, with windows to peek through at you.
You can visit my pets here at the
songs page. There, you can read up on their personal habits, and then take them home (download them) if you want. Or if you'd rather have a more immediate visit, you can still go to mp3.com/crap-o-phonic , where special trainers will alert them to your presence for immediate interaction (lo-fi play.) You can also take them all home in a bundle by purchasing Scrawl. As I seek out and destroy the fears of those that remain, more will become available to you in my electronic petting zoo.
