Those records! Those AKASHIC RECORDS! The records are there for all time, for all to see! What records, some may ask. In Sanskrit they are called the AKASHIC records, in other places they are referred to as GOD'S BOOK OF REMEMBERENCE, the SKIEN OF TIME, or just plain THE HALL OF RECORDS. Whatever one may call it, there appears to be some form of records that some people have a way of tapping into, people like Edgar Cayce, and other gifted psychics, like him. In fact every now and then just about every one, at some time or other have dipped into this record bank without realising it. After a couple of examples, I shall try to explain my understanding of the whole phenomenon.
Many years ago while I was just a kid, my uncle was pronounced dead, during the course of an operation. He eventually 'recovered', and had an amazing story to tell. A story he was to keep repeating to his children, and every youngster he came across, over and over again. He recalls that when he 'died', he floated out of the hospital, and through the proverbial tunnel, into a huge marble room. At the end of this room stood an old man, who had an open book before him. Going over to this man, my uncle glanced at the book, and found that it's pages contained 'moving pictures' of his entire life. There was no television at that time, so 'moving pictures', I suppose was the best way he could discribe what he saw. Anyway, these pictures were a record of 'every thaught, word, and deed he experienced through the 45 years of his life, right from boyhood! Some of what he saw made him quite proud of himself, but there was much that disgusted him. As the last few pages were reached, the old man closed the book, and my uncle then found himself back in the hospital theatre, he had been 'dead' for about 20 minutes. Throughout the rest of his life, he kept telling those around him, that "Everything, absolutely everything, is recorded for all time". Recorded in THE BOOK OF REMEMBERENCE.
The great American seer, Edgar Cayce would contact this HALL OF RECORDS, every time he gave a 'reading'. He would dip into these records, like anyone would go to a library, to get information on a person's health; or to find an answer that was burried millions of years ago, in the ancient history of our planet. The records are there, he would say, and will always be there, for anyone who wanted to read them. Is it possible, that in our dream state, we may often drop into that vast library? I think we just might. Remember my dream about motor rewinding, from the last page? That seems to suggest we in fact do.

AN EXPERIMENT IN TIME:
Now let's try to explain this in a practical way....Imagine we are sitting in a rocket ship, looking backwards, through a window. We would see the preparations for our launching going ahead, soon we see the rocket engines ignite, and we start lifting off. The ground receeds in the distance, as we go higher and higher. The scene we are watching is carried to the retina of our eyes by tiny photons, that are travelling at the speed of light, we are travelling in our rocket, at a tiny fraction of that speed.
However our rocket is no ordinary vehicle, and keeps accelerating. Soon we are quite far away, and need to use our super powerful telescope to view the scene we left behind. As we approach the speed of light, we are beginning to catch up with the photons that carry the scene we are watching, eventually we travel at the same speed as these photons. The act we were watching now freezes, and as we exceed the speed of those photons, we start overtaking those that had alread passed us earlier, we start observing the the past. It dosn't take much to extend this hypothesis into the depths of ancient history. Of course, when we take all the laws of physics into consideration, perhaps this hypothesis would get a lot of holes drilled into it, but you can see what I am getting at. If space if curved, as modern physics suggests, then we would not have to 'travel' infinite distances, to reach the stream of photons that left Earth eons ago, we would just need to know how to 'navigate' through time to get to them.
An extremely interesting book on time, is THE PHYSICS OF A FLYING SAUCER by Ted Roach. This is only a little book, but is absolutely fascinating. In it Ted Roach outlines a ground breaking theory that considers even emotions, a dimension of time, therefore, returning to our hypothetical rocket ship, we could even experience the emotions that prevailed at the secene we were watching from the past. If this were true, I wonder if our emotions, from the present, could interact with those emotions, from the past? The implications are fascinating. This would explain a lot. The way many clairvoyants appear to relive a past scene, for example. Could this emotional interaction work both ways? If this were true, imagine a 'trip' to Golgotha, at the crucifixation scene, the terrible emotions at the time could certainly be 'picked up', but could we also 'impart' comforting emotions, to the little group there? The implications are indeed fascinating.
