1. To beat a fire type trainer, use Pokémon with water, ground, or rock type attacks.

2. To beat a water type trainer, use Pokémon with grass, or electric type attacks.

3. To beat an electric type trainer, use Pokémon with ground, grass, or rock type attacks.

4. To beat a grass type trainer, use Pokémon with fire, ice, poison, flying, or bug type attacks.

5. To beat an ice type trainer, use Pokémon with electric, fighting, or steel type attacks.

6. To beat a fighting type trainer, use Pokémon with flying, or psychic type attacks.

7. To beat a poison type trainer, use Pokémon with ground, psychic, or rock type attacks.

8. To beat a ground type trainer, use Pokémon with water, grass, or ice type attacks.

9. To beat a flying type trainer, use Pokémon with electric, or ice type attacks.
