The History of the Palace

I originally created the Palace when I joined Bolt in May of 2001. The Palace started out small with only about 20 members. Then I got lucky, and Bolt chose the Palace to be Featured Club. Back then if you were chosen as Featured Club, you got alot of new members. After that the Palace had sister clubs like World of Weirdos and Dolls World because back then the clubs were united. Unfortunately, someone that I trusted as a co-leader deleted the club so I remade it in November of 2001. Everyone rejoined, and the club was really active. Then I quit Bolt for a couple of years. I came back in October of 2004. Bolt had changed alot, and the Palace was still there, but no one posted in it anymore so I decided to make it active again. Now its active again, and I hope that somehow the club helps people. Either by helping them make new friends or some other way.

Bad_Babe_4_U_16 - I would like to have everyone pray for my cousin. He was in a very bad car accident. He's been in the hospital since Saturday. He was gonna get married Sunday 16th but because of Saturday he didn't get married....I don't know how he's doing but I really want him to get better...I love him to death will you all please pray for him.

These are my thoughts and opinions about religion.

I wanted to write about evolution this month. I don't believe in evolution. I'm sure that's pretty obvious, but I wanted to tell you what I think about it. The creatures of the Earth may have been created in order from the smallest micro-organism all the way up to Humans. It makes since that God would create them that way. Everyone knows the Humans were created last. That's not evolution. Its just the order He created things. To me, evolution makes no logical sense. We have to have a creator, and that is God. A lightning strike or a meteor causing life is illogical. That could never and never did happen.

Evolutionists say that trees "evolved" fruit so that animals would eat the fruit and the seeds would travel. Does that make sense to you? How could a tree know to evolve? Why did the fruit turn out so sweet and delicious? The answer is God created the trees and the fruit. He created the whole world. Evolution is a lie. If it did exist then we would all be organic robots controlled completely by the chemical reactions in our brains. I believe in souls. Our souls are the reason that we have the right to chose between good and bad instead of just doing whatever comes to our mind. God created our souls, and put them into our bodies at birth.

The reason that the Earth isn't perfect is because its not Heaven. We all have difficult times in our lives, but you live and learn. Don't blame God for your problems. Life is about proving yourself worthy of Heaven. Don't worry about what other people think of you. If people have a problem with you being religious, that's their problem not yours. Live for God not for other people. You never know when you will die or when Jesus is coming back. So make sure that you pray every night and appologize for your sins. Also, spread the word of God.

I hope no one who isn't religious gets offended because I'm not trying to change anyone. I'm just writting my thoughts to try and help other people who do want to change or who are Christians. If you don't want to change you don't have to because that's your decision not mine. Note me if you want to talk.

Since both of your questions were pretty much the same I'm answering them at the same time so I don't need to repeat myself! So you both have long, thick hair and all you do is put it in a pony tail....obviously in need of a new style. There are a few different things you can do...Cut it short (if that's an option with you) or get it cut into layers, whether they be long or short. Layers are a very easy hairstyle to do...IF the layers are right. You don't want them too short or too long. People have who have long hair and just put it up into a ponytail should just cut their hair, because whats the point of having long hair then? So if you're not going to do anything with it, I'd suggest cutting it, to be honest! Otherwise, just try a new style with different layers or a half bang or something.

bblw15 - my hair is long- past my shoulders- and it keeps breaking. is there special shampoo that i should use???

You might need to trim you hair. Then do some good malibu treatments or deep conditioning treatments.

APPLE ORCHARD PUNCH

INGREDIENTS:
1 (32 fluid ounce) bottle apple juice, chilled
1 (12 fluid ounce) can frozen cranberry juice concentrate
1 cup orange juice
1 1/2 liters ginger ale
1 apple

DIRECTIONS:
In a large punch bowl, combine apple juice, cranberry juice concentrate and orange juice. Stir until dissolved, then slowly pour in the ginger ale.
Thinly slice the apple vertically, forming whole apple slices. Float apple slices on top of punch.

You know they say eat 5 fruits a day, but most people don't even eat one. Try to eat at least one fruit a day. They are inexpensive, tasty, and the health benefits make this change in your diet well worth it. If you eat just one apple or orange a day, you cut your risk of dying early from cancer or other diseases by 20%! If you are feeling tired all the time, then you may be anemic. Try eating at least one banana a day and see how much better you feel. Bananas are high in iron. Fruit consists mostly of water so it also helps keep you hydrated. Fruits are high in fiber. You know the health benefits of fiber from last month's article. So be sure to eat your fruits! If you do change your diet and start eating fruits, and it has a positive impact on you then write about it and send it to me for the next newsletter.

Yoga integrates physical exercise and meditative activity. This ancient discipline can be a great way to stretch and strengthen tight muscles, improve balance and reduce tension. Find a knowledgeable instructor to teach you the essentials of yoga.

The classic spherical fish bowls are banned under a new by-law which also stops fish or other animals being given away as fairground prizes. It comes after a national law was passed to allow jail sentences for people who abandon cats or dogs.

"It's good to do whatever we can for our animals who in exchange for a little love fill our existence with their attention," said Monica Cirinna, the councillor behind the by-law.

"The civilisation of a city can also be measured by this," she told Rome daily Il Messaggero.

The newspaper reported that round bowls caused fish to go blind. No one at Rome council was available to confirm this was why they were banned. Many fish experts say round bowls provide insufficient oxygen for fish.

In July 2004, parliament passed a law setting big fines and jail terms for people who abandon pets and since then local governments have added their own animal welfare rules many of which will be difficult to police.

The northern city of Turin passed a law in April to fine pet owners up to 500 euros (339 pounds) if they do not walk their dogs at least three times a day.

The new Rome by-law requires owners to regularly exercise their dogs, and bans them from docking their pets' tails for aesthetic reasons.

It also provides legal recognition for cat lovers who provide food for the colonies of strays which live everywhere from the city's ancient Roman ruins to modern office car parks.

Animal rights groups estimate that around 150,000 pet dogs and 200,000 cats are abandoned in Italy every year.

::Sage and Onion Mashed Potatoes Recipe::

Slow roasting the potatoes with the onion and sage give them a delicious herb flavor. This is a holiday favorite in our home I'm sure you will enjoy as well.

2 1/2 lbs russet potatoes, peeled & cut into 1 inch pieces
2 onions, sliced into thin wedges
1/2 cup vegetable broth
1/4 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon ground sage
salt & freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1/3 cup milk
butter, to taste
6 servings
1 hour 15 minutes 15 mins prep
Preheat oven to 450°F.

In a greased 3 quart casserole dish, combine the potatoes and onions.
In a large glass measuring cup combine vegetable broth, olive oil, sage, salt& freshly ground black pepper; drizzle over the potato and onion mixture and toss to coat.
Bake uncovered for 1 hour, or until the vegetables are tender; stirring once or twice as needed.
Roughly mash potatoes with a potato masher or with an electric mixer on low speed.
Slowly stir in enough milk and butter for the potatoes to reach the desired consistency.
Transfer to a serving bowl and enjoy!

Crumb Apple Pie

Crust:
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup solid vegetable shortening
1/4 cup ice water

Filling:
7 medium Granny Smith
or Golden Delicious apples
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon salt

Topping:
3/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
3/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/3 cup chilled butter or margarine, cut into pieces

Place rack on lowest position. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. To prepare crust; in a medium bowl mix together flour and salt. Using a pastry blender or 2 knives (I also use my fingers) cut shortening into flour mixture until course crumbs form. Add water 1 tablespoon at a time, tossing with a fork, until a dough forms. Shape into a disk, wrap in plastic wrap, and chill for 30 minutes. On a floured surface, using a floured rolling pin, roll dough into a 12 inch circle. Fit into a 9 inch pie plate. Trim dough, leaving a 1 inch overhang; pinch a decorative edge.

To prepare filling; peel, core and very thinly slice the apples. Mix together with other filling ingredients. Spoon into crust.

For topping, in a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, flour and cinnamon. Cut butter into mixture until course crumbs form. Sprinkle apple filling evenly with topping. Bake pie until topping is lightly browned and filling is bubbly, 35 minutes. If pie is overbrowning, cover loosely with foil. Cool on a wire rack. 8 servings.

1 pound sausage (medium is the best)
Grated Cheddar cheese (use however much you want)
Bixquick (enough so mixture will form balls)

Just mix and bake 10-15 minutes at 350 degrees.

"Heath Bar Cake"

1 German chocolate cake mix
1 can condensed milk
1 large jar hot fudge
1 container Cool Whip, thawed
2 Heath bars

Bake a German chocolate cake in a 10 X 13-inch cake pan. While still hot, punch deep holes in the cake about 1 inch apart with the end of a wooden spoon. Pour 1 can Eagle Brand Condensed Milk into the holes. Heat the hot fudge in the microwave until it will pour easily; pour it into the holes. Let cake cool; it works best if you put it in the refrigerator over night.

When ready to serve, cover with Cool Whip. While still in the wrapper, beat two Heath candy bars (the end of a knife does well) until broken into little pieces. Top cake with the candy bar pieces.

Also can be made with a regular chocolate cake. Tastes great with ice cream! Use more Heath bars for those toffee lovers in your family!

When Dean arrives on Sam's doorstep with the news that their father has vanished, Sam has no choice but to put his personal plans on hold and join Dean on the road.

After four years apart, the reunited brothers are getting to know one another again, and their familiar sibling rivalries are never far from the surface. Despite the strange childhood they shared, these boys turned out to have very different views of the world. As they follow the clues in their father's journal, the brothers realize that he has passed on to them all the knowledge he accumulated during the past 20 years. Flightplan Review

Kyle Pratt(Jodie Foster) finds herself in a very hysterical predicament when she boards a state-of-the-art E-474 aircraft. After she falls asleep during her flight, she faces every mother's worst fear when her 6 year old little girl vanishes while in flight from Berlin to New York. She also has to deal with the unfortunate and unexpected death of her husband, in which his coffin his aboard the plane too.

As she desperately strives to prove that her daughter is missing to the flight crew, passengers and the Air Marshal who is on the plane too, but they think she's lost her mind. The plane's Captain Rich(Sean Bean) doesn't want to doubt her, but her daughter's name's not on the flight manifesto and considering no one saw her little girl, they just don't believe her. Nevertheless she makes them search the plane from top to bottom and yet still can not find her missing daughter. Since she helped design this plane, she decides to search the bowels of the it herself and still can't find her beloved daughter.

Is her daughter really missing, did she lose her daughter and husband in a tragic way or is she just plain out of her crazy mind? You will have to see this very touching and adrenaline rushing movie in order to discover the truth.

It stars: Jodie Foster, Peter Sarsgaard, Erika Christensen, Sean Bean and Haley Ramm
