The Strat sounds good anywhere.
The Les Paul is good if it's the one dominating the song.
Big7 is good for orchestral and textural stuff, but only with new strings.
The Seagull is the acoustic version of the Les Paul. It's very good as the only acoustic. It does however peak somewhere around 250hz. for a low-mids nightmare.
The Samick acoustic sounds like a fucking harp when you play it right. Also great for a folky, lo-fi sound.
