people who hurt healing

self love

When we love only the outside, people places and things, we are always looking outside ourselves. We look outside ourselves to find something or someone to fill our insides.

When we always look outside ourselves we become hunters. Our eyes and mind are spending time looking around us. We need something for the outside to give us something inside.

We fear to look inside. We fear what we might find. We need the outside to hide the inside.

We have the ability to love. We must learn to love both the inside and the outside. Without the inside self-love we only love half of what we can really love. When we find the self-love we stop being hunters and become explorers.

One day I found my self-love. All the love I was putting on the outside went inward. I started to glow inside with the warmth I gave the outside. It came after many years of practicing self-caring. I had learned to take care of me. I learned to make time for me. I learn to set bounties and not let people walk on me. And it all paid off.
