"Hi," I said embarassed.
"Hi," he said.
"Come in we need to talk," I said leading him to the couch. He gave me the roses and sat down with me. He then handed me the list.
"There are a dozen reasons why I think you should be my wife. Adozen reasons why I love you. And a dozen reasons why I never ever want to be seperated from you," he said. I cried.
"I need to take back what I said tonight. I don't know where I got so obnoxious," I said.
"Well since where apaulogizing I need to apaulogize for a proper proposal," he said getting down on one knee and pulling the ring form his pocket.
"Jessica Marie Brown will you do me the greatest honor and marry me?" he asked.
"Yes," I said. He then slipped the ring on my finger for the second time. I pulled him up and kissed him deeply. he circled his arms around me and kissed me on the forehead. I ended up with my make-up smeared and lying in Nick's arms. I woke up the next morning and found Nick drooling. "Hey sleepy head wake up," I whispered in his ear.
"Uhhh you know your the most gorgeous thing to wake up to?" He asked.
"Yeah that's me witht he smeared amke-upand messy hair," I said laughing.
"Your so pretty just like this, " he said drawing my lips to a sensual kiss.
"Ohhh Nick I can't wait till where married," I said telling him the truth.
"Ohhh me either," he said stroking my arm. Days past and Nick's parents engag,ment party came. Nick and I walked up the steps of the house quietly. We popend the door to a big suprise. Nick had told me about the event in advance. I guess he bribed aaron. Daniel showed up that night, and was finding her way to Brian. The two seemed to get along well. As did Kevin and Christina, and Sarah and Howie. Though A.J. brought along Lisa as a date, I somewhat didn't mind. "Nick." I showed him where Lisa nd A.J. where doing some flirting. He took me by the waist and walked me over there.
"Hey guys. A.J. you brought Lisa?" Nick asked.
"Yeah," he said smiling.
"So Nick how come I never got a call about the happy news?" She asked.
"What happy news?" Nick asked.
"Oh your silly. You and jess here tying the knot?" she ditzied her way around.
"Well I wasn't sure how to break it to ya," I cut in.
"Well I would have taken it fine. A.J. and I here have become quite good friends," she said rubbing his chest.
"So I see," Nick said.
"Hey Nick man do you mind if I bring her to the wedding?" A.J. asked.
"Ask my fiance," he said. I thought for a moment with all eyes on me.
"Yeah that would be nice. Hey Nick let's go talk to your parents." I said leading Nick away.
"Oh by the way," I said turning around, "There'll be security if you get out of hand." Nick and I walked off. He looked at me like why did you invite her.
"To show I'm not some heartless bitch," I said walking off arm in arm with the man I loved. Days went by and soon enough it was a week before the wedding. Everything was set and I was excited and scared. By now the press had gotten aholdof the story and was runing with it. Though no news stations anywhere had the date. The night before the wedding. Nick and I where hanging at my house when the doorbell rang. A.j., Brian, Kevin, Howie and some of Nick's other friends carried him away. "Now boys no strippers, no liquor or any of that. You hear me?" I yelled after them.
"Yes," they all yelled back. I knew what they where doing. They took Nick to Brian's house and where just going to hang out. I had Brian's word on that. That night the girls too came over. We ate junk food, and talked about the wedding. "Jess are you scared," Sarah asked.
"Yeah, getting married is a huge deal," I said.
"About the wedding night?" Daniel asked.
"Oh yeah. I don't know what to expect ya know?" I said.
"Okay change the subject. That's my brother," Beej chimmed in. We did to many other things. The girls also brought over wedding shower gifts like bath stuff, books about marriage and anything you could think of. That night they went home at midnight. I slipped under the covers looking at my ring. "I love Nick," I said.
