Tour FAQ for 1999 Backstreet Boys Concerts

Where are the Canadian Tourdates?

The reason why there are gaps in the tourdates list is because the Canadian dates have not been added. So when they come out we will list those as well.

Where do I buy my tickets? If you don't want to purchase tickets via internet, call up Ticketmaster (it should be in the phone book) and ask them where the nearest ticket outlet is.

What time do tickets go onsale?

Ticketmaster announced at 10:00 am. I'm almost certain this is for Eastern Time but it is unconfirmed.

Who are the opening acts?

For the bulk of tourdates LFO is set to be opening the boys. The other groups are unconfirmed.

How do I get my state added?

Well according to a Backpack reader. She was at a conference in LA discussing the Tourdates and here is what she wrote in:

I just wanted to tell you that I was listening to the radio last night and there was a press confrence from LA concerning the tour dates and our radio station asked the spokesperson if they could by any chance add Sacramento to the tour dates, and get this they said to go on the BSB website, click fanmail, and then press questions, and if they get more than a thousand fanmails reading PLEASE come to Sacramento , they will add SacTown to the tour dates , and if anyones elses dates aren't on there then they have to do the same thing.

How much does the event cost?

According to all Ticketmasters and Official e-mails:

$28.50 and $38.50. The truth is that if you buy from a private agency it could be from 125.00-325.00$ for each ticket

Like we said, they were announced on TRL yesterday by Carson Daly and John Norris, with the help of the Brian, AJ, and Kevin themselves.

When are tickets going on sale?

August 14th.... all tickets will go on sale August 14th at 10 AM.

Is that for just your state, or all states?

ALL, meaning ALL tickets go on sale, August 14th at 10 AM.

Are you sure??? I'm 99.9999999% sure. You can never be 100% sure when it comes to the BSB, but this is what they said on TRL.

How do I get tickets?

Go to a ticket retailer, AKA, Ticketmaster. Stand in line, call them on the phone, order over the internet, however you want, but Ticketmaster will sell them to you at FACE VALUE. If you want a really good seat, or tix sold out b4 you got there, you can try a ticket broker, who will charge a HUGE fee, making the tix cost A LOT more. But, they have pretty good seats. You can find them in the phone book under 'ticket sales' usually.

When are the tickets going on sale again?

August 14th at 10 AM

How can I get backstage passes? Be REALLY lucky. Backstage passes are usually reserved for the artists friends and family, contest winners, VIPs, etc.

Yes, there were a lot of states that weren't on the list. I don't know why this is. They may add more dates later, but I'm not sure. Check Ticketmaster.com to see.

Are there going to be random ticket drawings?

There is no OFFICIAL word on random ticket drawings yet. As soon as there is, the Backpack will let you know.

Just what the hey are random ticket drawings?

That's when you have to pick a number, and that's your position in line to buy the tickets. It can work out really well for you, or not... depends on your luck.

How many tickets can I buy at once? Usually, the limit is 8 for the first 60 minutes of sales. You should probably double check ahead of time by calling Ticketmaster.

When are tickets going on sale? ACK!!!! DONT make me hurt you!

How much do tickets cost?

It depends on what kind of seats you have. Prices haven't been released yet, but with the huge popularity of the BSB, my guesstamite (don't quote me on this) is starting at around 28-38$ dollars.

How come when I go to Ticketmaster.Com and type in 'Backstreet Boys' it only shows a few dates?

'Cause Ticketmaster is really SLOW. They're adding dates as we speak, but veeeerrrryyy slowly.

Can you list the dates one more time? I accidently deleted them!

Sure, no problem-o! Also, there were a couple dates where we wrote the wrong date by accident. That's been fixed in these dates, so you might want to double check.
