As you can see, not all chapters are on the web, but some are on the web only. Each scroll-down menu is for the website in general. If you are here to read, on the right side is the table of contents for "H.I.M." (book-in-progress). Also, I made a mirror site at Tripod, which I am about to clean up from the banners and advertising.
Webbing! I still struggle with the symbols, which sound or color belongs to each category. Silly? I have four directions for music: classical, jazz, reggae and traditional Ethiopian music (collecting it). For now I associate writing with classical music. But what about backgrounds? To leave them white for the chapters? I miss the dark and the fancy screen, something book can't have. Something bettwen a painting, magazine and tv screen.
Ah, the banners! When to use the black and when the lion? I envy you with the well organized pages.
Yes, and how to associate the pages with the simple "next" and "back"? I don't know where you should go "next"! It's up to you, stranger. I feel that I created "Markato" (Addis Ababa open-air market), with very little help to a visitor. I thought that I am building a museum.
Well, a HTML writer is a new profession... I even have a page on the subject Electronic Life

My fiction is not on the web and I'm not sure when (if ever) I do it.
Somehow I feel that my love affair with the Net comes to an end. Not only I do not have time to continue the development of the sites, I don't have time to maintain them. I have no time to answer emails and this is a death sentence to interactive attribute of the web. Oh yes, I believe in the future of the Internet more than ever, but writer must stay away from the public in order to write. I enjoyed those few months of the cyber-construction and intent to add more writings from time to time, but I can't commit myself to the Net. Sorry, if I have to disappoint the regulars of my sites. The only answer I have for you is my call to come aboard and maintain the sites. Yes, cyber space is more public than any other space known to mankind. It belongs to you, you give life to it and it is yours no less than I can claim it as my property. Click on the copyright sign at the end of the page to see how the old world struggles with the end of property. It's not as if I don't believe that in the law, I don't believe that the old laws executable anymore. If you read this message in the year 3000, you know it already. Anatoly
