José Vega Aguayos disciple of Fernando Alonso,
graduated in 1972 in the National School of Dance in the speciality of Cuban folklore and
in 1994 finished as Licentiate in Contemporary Dance, becoming part of the most
prestigious dance and ballet companies of Cuba, some of them are: National Folkloric
Ensemble, National Dance of Cuba and Ballet of Camaguey. He has represented his country in
different international scenaries.
He has imparted courses to important
groups like Danza Abierta and Spanish Ballet of Havana.
He was main figure of prestigious and world famous Tropicana Cabaret
during 10 years and as a choreographer, he worked with Eduardo Rivero, Gustavo Herrera and
other outstanding personalities. He has made choreographies for Havana's Pro-Dance Center
and Ballet of Camaguey.
