places of ecological interests.
A
visit to Havana is a very attractive tour. Cuba is a real paradise due to its  surroundings and its cultural values, having important expressions of
that in some of its beautiful cities.For Example:
Santiago de Cuba is the cultural Capital of the Caribbean, having that
title because it gathers, under the ardent tropical sun, the most lively and autochthon
expressions of the Caribbean cultures. Santiago is also the Festival of the Caribbean that
takes place 3rd through 9th of July every year, meeting in its streets thousands of
artists, intellectuals and friends in a wonderful atmosphere of carnival, that lasts all
year in a lesser intensity.
Trinidad, declared humanity cultural patrimony by UNESCO, is Cuba's
most beautiful colonial city, preserving intact customs and traditions in their palaces
and in their rock tiled streets. Trinidad is also ecological, 20 minutes near Topes de
Collantes, a beautiful biosphere reserve.
Baracoa, Cuba's First Capital, is one of the places where there still
are examples of the Spanish presence in Cuba , sine the same discovery of America by
Christopher Columbus, whose first landing in the country took place near there in 1492.
The natural ecological reserves in Cuba are true monuments
of the wild and vegetal life, and some of the most relevant are:
Ciénaga de Zapata, huge extension associated with the
"Treasure's Lagoon " has the biggest crocodile nursery and a real paradise for
hunting and fishing, both protected with great rigor. Guama is also there, a beautiful
artistic reproduction of a Cuban aboriginal Indian village. 
Topes de Collantes is a touristic area in Escambray Mountain
Range, surrounded by mountains with tropical forests, huge pine trees, eucalyptus and
other species. There is a well equipped Sanatorium there for a good health rehabilitation:
a weathertight swimming pool, steam baths, massages and different means for medical
treatment. But the best for the patients is living naturally in a healthy micro climate.
Viñales is a beautiful mountainous valley with particular
forms. Viñales is also the land of the best world tobacco: the Cuban habano.
