Jonny L is not someone you would most likely think of when you think of hardcore, you think of Ed Rush, DJ Trance, and Alec Empire. Jonny L grew up hating school. Jonny's father bought him a keyboard in his early years which curved his interest to electronica. His early demo of "Hurt you so" caught the atention of the rave crowd. With the compensation money from a car accident and his earnings from working at a commercial studio he started his own small studio. Later he landed a deal with XL, despite the other offers. Jonny L's most famous track, Piper, has been played on dance floors throughout the world. Jonny L is one of the most unique artists in that he tries to stay away from influence. Paving the way for lesser DJ's and producers, Jonny L leads us into the future of music.
