Kipin Attacks Isabell of the Cabal, Laked by Soup

Some interesting developments occured on Pyroto Mountain on 5980. Details are sketchy, but here is a nutshell:

Isabell Soprano (of the Cabal) and Kipin (of the Pyro-Maniacs) got into a heated argument concerning the bringing in of outside information into Pyroto Message boards (i.e. info from Isabell's Chat Room. See the Reporter links page to visit. Further complicating matters was the recent creation of a new sign up wizard on Ri Shoo named Isabell.

Many wizards see the creation of this new wizard too convenient and close to the recent controversy when Soup renamed to Sethari while the real Sethari was renamed to Don Sethari, and posted a message that led many to beleive that the Cabal supported Soulrift's banishment of Polaris1.

At this time, it is yet to be determined if this Isabell is in fact a zombie or a new sign up, as she has only logged in once and sent but one post and not responded to many contacts, two sent by yours truely.

5980:1040 Kipin demoted Isabell Soprano 2 times
5980:1039 Kipin demoted Isabell Soprano 9 times
5980:1039 Kipin demoted Isabell Soprano 100 times
5980:1027 Isabell Soprano hurled an Ether message by Kipin
5980:1006 Kipin bestowed 2000 manna to I Am Not Sethari
5980:995 Falc bestowed 2000 manna to I Am Not Sethari

What is not shown is Sethari hurling all of Isabell Soprano's and Kipin's posts in this argument and between 1040 and 1049 Sethari Restoring Isabell Soprano's lost levels and manna, only to have Kipin remove them again. Feeling he was left with no alternative Sethari resorted to using Reduce against Kipin and then the Prodigals stepped in when I Am Not Sethari proceded to put Kipin in the Lake. Syrdary then fronted the manna to Sethari for a catapult to send Kipin's lifeless body back home to Ri Shoo, and Atypical Lemur promptly paid Syrdarya back for the Catapult Manna. At issue here is:

1. Can a Wizard bring outside information into Pyroto? To quote the More Time/Meta Rules Scroll:

   "Keep It Here:
   One important meta-rule is that you may not take battles occuring in The Land to the world that you inhabit. For example, if it is discovered that somebody physically attacked another wizard because he Reduced him to level 0, the offending wizard would be (at the very least) Reduced by one of the Wizops (i.e. the operators of the portal to The Land). This meta-rule is necessary because arguments in The Land can sometimes become quite heated, and occasionally a hot-headed person might decide to wreak vengeance on another wizard in a manner that is not sanctioned by TSOTL. All the tools you need (the most powerful of which is diplomacy) are available to you right here."

   It is clearly stated in the Scrolls that what happens in the Land should stay in the Land, but is the converse of the statement true?

2. The New Isabell: Is the new Isabell a zombie? Or just a new signup that happened to have unbelievable timing?

3. Was Sethari justified in the use of Reduce? None of Kipin's attacks did any damage to esteem. Was the use of Reduce uncalled for?

4. Why did the Prodigals get involved? Does this speak of a possible new alliance between the Prodigals and The Cabal?

Kipin could not be reached for comment. As always the Reporter will keep you updated on events as they unfold.
