KJV – Therefore If Any Man Be In Christ, He Is A NEW,
{G2537}, Creature:
Old
Things Are Passed Away; Behold, ALL Things Are BECOME, {G1096}
NEW, {G2537}.
The 1st NEW,{G2537 ~ kainós} Is Like Some
Soiled or Dirty Clothes That Got Washed, And Now They Are Clean. Or Like
Buying A Used Car That Is Not, “Brand New”, But That Is New To You, That Has Been Cleaned
Up or, “Freshened Up”.
Or To Really Put It In A Word That We Would Substitute For An Antique Car That Has Been Fully, “Restored”. “New And Improved”. Made To Be Like New, But Really Not, “New”.
Even A, “Newborn” Child Is Not Really, “New”, Because We’ve Had Human On
Earth Before, They Are Just Some Slight Differences.
Have You Ever Heard Some, “News”,
About An Event or A Song or A Scripture That You Got A, “New” Revelation About, And You Might Hear Yourself Say, That Is, “News”, To Me. And Then You Learn That This Recorded Sermon You’re Listening To Was Preached A Long Time Ago. It Was, “New” To You, But Not Really, “New”. I Remember When I First Heard The Song,
‘All Hail King Jesus’, And I Went To This, “New” Church, (“New” To Me), And I Told Them
Just How Important That Song Was To Me After My Infant Daughter Passed On, And Some Young Woman Said, “We’ve Been Singing That Song For
The Past Twelve Years”.
Obviously, This Wasn’t A, “New” Song As I Has Supposed. “Qualitatively New”, Which Means Another
Patch But Derived From A Cloth That Has Been Washed And
Pre-Shrunk. Therefore It Will Not Shrink When Used As A
Patch And Thus Tear The Garment.
A, “New” Patch Is Needed, But That Patch Must Be Of Shrunken cloth,
(Matthew 9:17; Mark 2:22; Luke 5:37-38). Thus It Is, “Qualitatively Different” From Just Any, “New”.But, The Second, “New” Has A
Verb, BECOME, {G1096 ~
Gínomai}, That Modifies The Noun, And BECOME Means Something That Never Existed Before, (ie… New Kind, Unprecedented).
Such As A New Covenant, (Matthew 26:28; Luke 22:20; Mark 14:24), or
New Testament, (2 Corinthians 3:6; Hebrews 9:15), or A New Commandment,
John 13:34-35),
or A New Kind Of Love, {Agapáō ~ (1 Peter 1:22)}. |
