Show
Guitar Show was formed in the summer
of 2001 by David Porth and Daniel Machado. The original
concept being the intricate plan to "start a band".
Daniel had never taken the guitar seriously and David
didn't own one to start with. In the search for a bassist,
it was realized that Daniel's sister Sierra owned a
bass and that they conveniently lived in the same house.
Finally the Machado's family friend, Kara completed
the lineup by filling the drummer position. After playing
for three months or the band performed their first show
for a group of children at a summer orchestra program.
At that time the band played a set of 7 to 8 songs that
Daniel had written over the summer.

Fast forward a year and a half through birthday parties,
a first time New Brookland Tavern show the heckle infested
Battle of the Bands at Senate park, and a trip to play
a show out of town at Myrtle Beach's the Lazy I, the
band went through its first major growing pain, the
mutual split between the band and original drummer Kara
Nelson. At this point the band began looking for a new
drummer. Brian Fowler was eventually chosen to fill
this roll.

Summer of 2003 brought the departure of Brian Fowler
and David Porth. Though the decisions are mutually exclusive,
both former members left expressing unhappiness in their
positions in the band.

CURRENT
Fall of 2003 brought long time friends Michael Macininey
and Eddie Lord into the picture. Mike who had played
drums several times with the band in the past jumped
in as a permanent member. Eddie who had played with
Daniel in the past in various metal and Rage Against
the Machine jam sessions jumped in as permanent vocalist/guitarist.
Now the future is at hand...
