We Want Freedom And We Want It NOW!!!!

Thomas Jefferson was the one who responsible for the authoring the Declaration of Independance.
One of the colonys greatest men. He participated in many events leading to the constitution.

In our nation's history, there has always been a connection between the peoples' thoughts and their governments of choice. In the early times of our nation, the people had been terrorized by the German King of Britain. He had done many cruel things to the settlers ranging from unjust taxing, failure to pass laws that would aid settlers, and just out right incompetence as a leader. In the eyes of the colonists, the king was, for all intents and purposes, a tyrant. To free themselves from his reign, the settlers created a document declaring their independance. It was appropriately dubbed, the Declaration of Independance.

The document written by Thomas Jefferson, explained to the king what exactly he did to cause the colonies to feel this way. The document was signed by fifty-two of the colonies most brilliant and influential men. With the colonies now being free, it was up to them to decide how the country would be run.
