The Crest of Friendship

Here's just a little section explaining stuff about Matt's crest: The Crest of Friendship. They named an episode after that. The coolest episode there ever was. My favorite... *hugs Yama Plushie*

Matt's  Crest

Everyone knows that each of the DigiDestined has a crest. And Matt's happens to be the Crest of Friendship. C'mon, do your oooh's and aaah's now.  Done? Good. I happen to think that his crest is very important. Plus, the way it looks is pretty spiffy. It's like a Yin and Yang, or whatever.

Okay, I'll start my little story about the origin. As it is told, each of the Chosen Children gets a crest of the trait that was the strongest to them four years ago. (Huh? I'm confusing myself) And Matt's strongest trait at the age of 8 was friendship. Aww, cute. ^^

Crest and Tag. Ooooh, purdy.

Back to the present. Matt finds his crest in a well in the episode "The Piximon Cometh" along with Izzy, who finds his crest of knowledge. Izzy's reason to find a crest is to find out what Kabuterimon can digivolve up to. Matt's reason is to 'digivolve' himself into a stronger person. *gets a checklist* Another reason to love him. ^^ Anyhoo, inside the well, they saw the symbols of Friendship and Knowledge going whacko inside, and so they decide to hold their crests up against the rock walls. And poof! There ya go. ^_^

The Grest of Friendship first glows in the episode, "WereGarurmon's Diner," one of my personal faves. Got it on tape. *grins* Anyways, the crest glows when, um... *thinks hard* Oh yeah, when Joe was in trouble (Joe, no!!) and when Matt was thinking of all his friends and TK and how he needs all of them to succeed. ^_^ When Yama's crest glows, it makes Garurumon digivolve into WereGarurumon. ^_^

Some  Factoids

~ A white rose represents friendship. A pink rose means that you like the person, and  a red rose means love.
