FirstUpdate! Fusions
Fusing is one of the most complex procedures in the
Dragonball series. There are of course two methods of fusing: the fusion dance, and the Potara
earrings.
The fusion dance is the more powerful and reliable way of fusing, but the Potara earrings
are used when you don't have a lot of time to prepare. This page is here to explain, in extreme detail, the
procedures that must take place to create a proper fusion.
First of all, what is fusion? Fusion is
the art of merging two beings together to create a being with double, and even triple the attributes and
power.
Fusion Dance The fusion dance has many complex steps and requirements. The first
requirement is that the two warriors must have almosr exactly the same mass. The second requirement is
that the two warriors must lower or raise their power levels to the exact same level. To perform the
fusion dance, the two warriors must have about ten feet between them and they must move slide toward
eachother at the exact same time. While doing this, they must slur the begining of the word "fusion" and
their arms must raise up over their heads, fingers pointed, and away from one another. At this point,
they must have their index fingers pointed, and they must raise their arms over their heads once again,
with their backs arched toward each other.
During this crucial step, the word "ha" must be yelled
as their fingertips touch. If the fusion is succesfull, a bright flash of light and glowing red ( or blue, which
is sometimes the case ) energy aura will engulph the two warrior's bodies and a buzzing sound will be
heard.
A black vest with shoulder and neck pads will take the place of a shirt, and white baggy
pants and a black belt will take the place of the two fighter's pants.
Potara Fusion This method of
fusion is rather simple. The only thing the two fighters need to do is wear the Potara earrings, provided
by Kaio-shin, on opposite ears. ( Gokuu wore it on his left ear and Vegita wore it on his right ). Their
bodies will immediately begin to merge when the earrings are correctly worn, and not only will the
physical attributes fuse, but also will the clothes.
The Fusions
Gojita ( Gokuu & Vegita ) - Gojita is the most powerful fusion with the ability to reach
Super Saiya-jin 4. Gojita didn't actually appear in the Dragonball Z. His first appearance was in Rebirth
of Fusion: Gokuu and Vegita.
 Gotenks ( Goten & Trunks ) - Gotenks can only reach Super Saiya-jin 3,
which is still amazing, considering Goten and Trunks could only reach Super Saiya-jin 1. Undoubtedly
he is an unstoppable force. His first appearance was during the Majin Buu Saga while on Kami's
Lookout high above the Earth.
Kaio-bit ( Kaio-shin & Kibit ) - When Kaio-shin was badly
beaten in an earlier fight, his bodyguard, Kibit, thought the only way to revive him in time to help defeat
Majin Buu was to use the mystic Potara earrings. This occured shortly before their deaths at the hands
of Majin Buu.
Vegitto ( Gokuu & Vegita ) - Desperate times called
for desperate measures during the fight with Majin Buu. Both Saiya-jins were badly beaten and needed
a plan to stop Majin Buu. The Potara Fusion was their only hope, considering Vegita couldn't even do
the fusion dance at that time.
