Rowen is the smartest of the Ronins. Supposedly, he has over 180 IQ. And I guess that makes him a genius, but I'm not sure what the IQ level is for that...He darn sure isn't retarded! He seems to like cars a lot and to know a lot about them. (This is what I've heard.) But he's a complete disaster when it comes to cooking. So don't let him in the kitchen, you'll end up with a culinary crisis. I can see it now. It'd end up like the time that my mom tried to make tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches, only the milk had gone bad for the soup and the sandwiches were sticking to the skillet and not getting cooked because she'd made hominy in the same skillet the night before... Or like the time that I tried to cook a ham but forgot to turn the cooker on...Everyone wondered why they couldn't smell anything cooking...
Anyway, Sage is Rowen's best friend, but they are not, I repeat, NOT gay. There is no evidence supporting this theory anywhere in the original 39 episodes, and those are the eps that count. In fact, I don't think that any of the Ronin Warriors are gay, but that's because Yuli doesn't count as a Ronin Warrior. He's just a pest. But I did find one of Ryo's statements questoinable, when he was talking to Sage right before Talpa took him (him being Sage). Listen to it and you'll figure out what I mean.
As for Rowen's family life, it's plain and simple. He's an only child and his parents are divorced. From what I've heard. I could be wrong, so don't quote me on this!

Rowen is Kento's complete opposite. He's smart and he doesn't eat much and he thinks with his brain rather than with his stomach. Even their armors are opposite! (Orange and blue are complimentary colors, which means that they are on opposite sides of the color wheel and when used together make each other look brighter.)
