What is Cardcaptors?

Number of episodes in Japan: 70
Number of episodes in Canada (so far): 22
Number of episodes in US (so far): 17

Cardcaptors originated as a Japanese manga. It was created by the artists at CLAMP, who made many other magnas. It was then changed into an anime, which without no time passing became a hit. The show was about a girl named Sakura who found a mysterious book in her dad's library in their basement. She opened it up and found a card named "Windy" and said its name out loud. That's how it all began. The cards blew all over the place and out into the universe. Now, she must find them and return their powers to their card form.

The US version was adapted by Nelvana. Nelvana changed it around alot, cutting this and that out of it. This is why Cardcaptors in the US will probably not get as popular as in Japan, but it is still a great Anime.
