Shampoo appears in several Ranma episodes and it is often puzzling to get the right episodes for someone like me who wants to get all those episodes where she appears. Here is a list of all the episodes I know where Shampoo makes an appearance. From a 1 minute appearance to a full lenght Shampoo feature... (Please note that sometimes this is not the episode's entire description (Just Shampoo-description))

means an episode where Shampoo doesn't appear most of the time, but still plays an important role in the story

means a Shampoo episode (Where she appears often and the story is related to her)

 

OAV Series - Desperatelty Seeking Shampoo

1st episode: Shampoo, because a cursed jewel, hates Ranma as much as she loves him. (Watch out here!) This OAV episode is a must-see for every single Shampoo freak out there. The animation is of theatrical-quality and the story is entirely focysed on Shampoo. There is a scene not seen in the manga of her in the shower. And also Ranma shows signs that he could love her... It is pretty identical to the manga except for some scenes. Excellent episode!!!

2nd episode: Shampoo invited to Tendo Family Christmas Scramble! This the OAV special christmas episode. Shampoo is invited (As everybody else) to the Tendo Family Christmas Scramble. Nabiki blackmails Ranma into spending time alone with his various fiancées. Shampoo and Ukyo have a fight over Ranma in the kitchen, they spoil each other's meal they are cooking (That's cute!) Mousse and Ryoga spend time in la-la land imagining going out to the grocery store to get some soya sauce with their respective girl-they-love-so-much. Cool episode.

 

OAV Series - Akane and Her Sisters

1st episode: Shampoo gets attacked by a food thief... ... and Ranma is in charge of finding the thief. Shampoo appears in the beginning.

2nd episode: Shampoo and Ukyo help Akane train to fight Natsume and Kurumi (Yeah, right!) In fact they plan this to "eliminate" Akane to go to Ranma... Shampoo tries to get rid of Ukyo at the same time... No apparitions after that...

 

OAV Series - Faster, Kasumi! Kill! Kill!

2nd episode: Shampoo invited to "Doll Inn" with Ranma, Ukyo and Tendo family Very cool atmosphere of the hot-pring inn (I'd like to go there with Shampoo! :) Shampoo tries to keep the possessed-by-an-evil-doll-Akane from hurting Ranma. (Shampoo shows she is really clever in this one...

 

OAV Series - One Grew Over the Kuno's Nest

1st episode: Shampoo helps Ranma to fight the Phoenix on Kuno's head She cooks pills to make the Phoenix grow and leave uno's head so he would not be invincible. She also fights the big-bad-nasty bird and saves Akane from getting really hurt... (Cool scene!)

2nd episode: Shampoo and Ukyo take Ranma and Akane to a haunted cave which separates couples Shampoo and Ukyo (Mostly Ukyo) are plotting to get Ranma and Akane to leave the cave together (And apart) But Akane always gets with Ryoga! (Funny one!)

 

Ranma 1/2 The Movie - Big Trouble in Nekonron, China

Not a Shampoo episode but she appears a lot and she's part of the story. Shampoo saves Ranma's life in this movie. Cool scene! Yeah that's right (She's so cool!) She travels to China to help Ranma fight the Seven Lucky Gods Martial Artist. She fight Mon-Ron. (Must-see and very funny!)

 

Ranma 1/2 The Movie 2 - Nihao my Concubine

Not a Shampoo episode but she appears a lot and she's part of the story. (Wanna see her in swimsuit?... or helping Mousse to fight her kidnapper?) Now you Shampoo freaks would want to see this motion picture not only to see Shampoo in her too-gorgeous-and-sexy-to-be-true bikini-waitress outfit at the beginning and her concubine yellow dress later... But also for the scene where Mousse fights for her. Cool combat scene and she saves him too... (Must-see! )

 

First Season - Volume 8

1st episode (15): Shampoo enters Must-See! (See Shampoo's storyline for more details) Identical to the manga...

2nd episode (16): Shampoo makes Akane lose memory of Ranma Must-See! (See Shampoo's storyline for more details) Identical to the manga...

 

First Season - Volume 9

1st episode (17): Shampoo leaves for China (A sad ending) Must-See! (See Shampoo's storyline for more details) Identical to the manga...

2nd episode (18): Shampoo appears in Ranma and Genma's flashback from Volume 8 (Flashback episode)

 

Second Season - Cat-Fu Fighting

1st episode (N2): Shampoo returns from China as a Cat You'll only see her as a cat in this one, spying around and discovering (Sad) that Ranma is scared to death by cats... (Almost identical to the manga) (Must-See for Shampoo-Neko's fans!) (See Shampoo's storyline for more details)

2nd episode (N3): Enter Cologne and Girl type-Shampoo revealed! Really cool one. Cologne enters and Ranma can't change back to a guy. Shampoo returns to her girl-form in the bath with Ranma (Naked) realizing that Ranma is a real guy after all... (Cool scene) (See Shampoo's storyline for more details)

 

Second Season - Chestnuts Roasting On an Open Fire

1st episode (N4): Shampoo reveals existence of the "Phoenix Pill" Some differences from the manga but cool... Shampoo doesn't appears as often as she should...

2nd episode (N5): Enter Mousse, Shampoo's "suitor" Yes but she doesn't love him. He's been proposing to her since they are 3 years old... Some differences from the manga...

 

Second Season - Cold Competition

1st episode (N6): Shampoo is the prize of a Snowman race and helps Ranma recover from the Full-body-Cat-tongue. Cat-Fu! Now, according to the manga, this one should be taking place on a beach... and should be a Watermelon-Smashing Race... I really wonder why they put this in a Ski resort... (Swimsuits are sexy!) Shampoo is cute in her snow suit though... If you put this difference aside, there is not a lot of difference from the manga except... Shampoo is again turning back to a girl in the bath with Ranma (Who is nose-bleeding) (That Shampoo got no inhibitions toward Ranma! :) (Cool fighting episode with a happy-Shampoo- "love"-scene)

2nd episode (N12): Ranma dates with Shampoo! Aiya! This episode is sad for Shampoo, but really cool! She goes out with Ranma with a Instant-Nannichuan (Guy-cursed-spring) powder as the prizes. Shampoo is not stupid... And Ranma is so cruel with her... The kiss scene takes place in a cinema instead of a park... It's cute.. This episode shows Shampoo's intelligence and also her childish side.

 

Second Season - The Breaking Point

1st episode (N10): Shampoo thinks Ryoga is stupid She only appears at the beginning and tries to show Ryoga how to get out of the Neko hanten because he got lost in there... (Stupid Boy!)

 

Second Season - Fowl Play

1st episode (N13): Mousse is back as a duck and """kidnaps""" Akane Mousse gets duck-cursed. Shampoo goes to the circus to see Mousse's "show" with Ranma and Akane. Akane gets splashed with water that turns anything into a duck...

2nd episode (N14): Ranma fights Mousse over Shampoo Cool fight Ranma VS Mousse... Akane and Ranma (Mostly Akane) try to set Mousse and Shampoo together... (Almost identical to the manga...

 

Second Season - The Evil Wakes

1st episode (N15): Enter Happosai. "How dare you touch chest of amazon girl! Only fiancé have permission to do that!" Shampoo only appears at the beginning and gets touched on her breasts by Happosai.

 

Second Season - Good Bye, Girl-Type!

1st episode (N17): Shampoo help Ranma find cure for curse! Yeah, she gets rid of Ryoga with a cool kick...

2nd episode (N18): Shampoo help Ranma find cure for curse! (Ending) Ranma saves Shampoo from getting hit by a big rock but says it was only to spare the magic jar she was carrying... (Stupid Ranma!)

 

Third Season - Dim Sum Darling

1st episode (N25): Shampoo's worst plan. Ranma hugs everyone who sneezes. I don't like this episode because it is the one that makes people think Shampoo is stupid or that she's like Kodachi, potion-crazy...

 

Third Season - Once Upon a Time in Jusenkyo

1st episode (N29): Akane gets super-strenght but Shampoo too, ... somehow... Almost like the manga except for the outfits... But it's a cool one, except that Shampoo gets knocked out at the end, unlike in the manga...

2nd episode (N30): Shampoo gets caught by people from Jusenkyo Shampoo doesn't appears often... Ranma goes free her, Genma and Mousse.

 

Third Season - Meloncholy Baby

1st episode (N35): Shampoo want Ranma to swallow love pill! Cool and very funny one... Love pill makes a person fall in love with the first person she sees from the opposite sex... Happosais wants Shampoo!!! *Disgusted*

2nd episode (N36): Mousse and Ryoga Alliance Shampoo appears only at the end... Mousse's bomb explode on him...

 

Third Season - Back to the Happosai

1st episode (N37): Shampoo goes back in time to Cologne's young age... With Ranma, Akane, Soun, Genma and Happosai... Shampoo and Akane try to put young Cologne and young Happosai together...

 

Third Season - Da Doo Ling-Ling, Lung-Lung

2nd episode (N40): Aiya! Shampoo's not-blood-related-twin-sisters enter to kill Ranma-Chan. Shampoo sacrifces herself for Ranma... A reeeaaally cool episode. A must-see. Shampoo sacrifices herself for Ranma by fighting her two "twin-sisters"...

 

Third Season - Smells Like Evil Spirit

1st episode (N41): Shampoo saves Ranma from his evil side We can see her sleeping in her bed and she saves the day by returning Ranma to his normal self...

 

Third Season - Soap Gets In Your Eyes

1st episode (N43): Aiya! Give back Shampoo's water-proofing soap, Ryoga! Swimsuit Shampoo... They removed a part of the manga story where she uses her hypnotic mind-control technique on Akane. But the story is kept almost like the original... Team up with Ranma to get back her soap...

2nd episode (N44): Shampoo enters Anything-Goes Obstacle Course race to win trip to China A race to get to China... Shampoo participates along with many others...

 

Third Season - Mirror, Mirror

2nd episode (N51): Ukyo tries to act like a normal girl. Shampoo enters cooking competition She only appears at the end in the cooking competition... Somehow Akane manages to cook something which tastes ok... (... well)

 

Fourth Season - My Fiancé, the Cat

1st episode (N53): Shampoo appears in Ryoga's flashback from Volume 8 (Flashback episode)

2nd episode (N54): Shampoo bring back a love present for Ranma but, is big scary cat *sigh*... Ranma hurts Shampoo's feelings in this one Very sad ending... And the worst is that we can't see how she feels at the end... Shampoo, with good intentions, brings back a love present for Ranma but he is so cruel with her...

 

Fourth Season - Pinky Promised

1st episode (N65): Shampoo ties a magical red thread to Ranma's finger and Ranma is now in love with Shampoo. Shampoo make wedding plan... Cool episode, we can see that Shampoo wants Ranma to be happy with her even if it is a "forced" "love". Sad ending, poor ending (We can't even see how Shampoo feels)

2nd episode (N66): Mousse "goes back to China" but stays to get Ranma to be with Shampoo Mousse-loves-Shampoo-so-much episode. He decides to give up and go back to China... But stay in Japan and watch over Ranma so he doesn't screw up on Shampoo...

 

Fourth Season - Eat, Drink, Man-Who-Turns-Into-a-Woman

2nd episode: Ling-Ling and Lung-Lung return but no see Shampoo in this episode... *sigh*

 

Fifth Season - Buns of Steel

2nd episode (N71): Shampoo prepares the hair-growing "Dragon Whisker" rice porridge for bald people (Genma, Happosai and 4 old men) without telling them the effect just wore off. She doesn't appears until the ending, but she does save the day!

 

Fifth Season - Marry Me, Akane

1st episode (N73): Giant ghost cat from past episode returns and possesses Ryoga. But no Shampoo in this one. *sigh*

 

Fifth Season - Daddy Dearest

2nd episode (N77): Shampoo enter "Hot Spring Race" with Ranma to win trip to China for cure. They removed a lot of things from the manga version... which sucks! Ranma has got to choose between Akane and Shampoo in the manga... (Sad but cool scene) They removed that...

 

Fifth Season - Croak and Dagger

2nd episode (N82): Shampoo turn into frog???

 

Fifth Season - (Title Unknown)

2nd episode (N84): Ranma loves Shampoo!? And Ukyo? And Kasumi? And Nabiki? ???
