Alot of people are wondering what this new Tenchi series that is coming out is. There are 2 new series coming out accually. Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki OVA3 and Tenchi Muyo GXP TV/OVA series. I think everyone knows what the OVA3 is, but what in the world is this GXP??? Well my friends that's why im here : ). First off, GXP stands for Galaxy Police. It is based on the Manga of the same name. but the odd thing is, the Tenchi characters that we have all come to know and love will not be present in this series. However, some characters related to the Tenchi girls will be in the series, such as Mihoshi's mother or Ayeka's Grandmother. The leading male character in Galaxy Police is a young male human being named "Seina". He is involved in many things as Tenchi. A girl who is the best friend of Tenchi's relatves misunderstand Seina as one of Masaki Family's member and ask him to join GP. That is where the GP story start. I hope this cleared it all up. It is basically a parody series just like Pretty Sammy although the Tenchi characters will not be in the show. |
