Gene Starwind

Gene is the main character of Outlaw Star. He likes to go to bars and drink and play poker(in america's version "Go fish"), He flirts with the ladys too.(cut out of american version)He has half ownership of Starwind and Hawking interprise.He and Jim take on almost any job, bodyguarding, fixes things, etcs.. At the beginning of Outlaw Star, Gene gets sick while in space, due to his past. When he was young he went into space with his father, they were attacked and he was pushed into the only escape pod, by himself. He becomes the captian of the Outlaw Star(XGP15a-II)
Jim Hawking

Jim is Genes partner and friend. He has the other half of ownership of Starwind and Hawking interprise.He does most mechanic work on jobs. He owns a car, which he loves. On the Outlaw Star he does the mechanic work with Gelliam, while Gene goes off and does his thing.Jim is as mature as Gene is(it shows how immature Gene is)
Hilda
Age:20
Fist appears in episode:1(as rachel though)
She is an Outlaw. She has a patch over her right eye. She also has a machnical arm.She has Gene and Jim get her some parts and be a bodyguard for her. After getting Gene and Jim to get her to a farm, where Melfina is, she attempts to knock out Gene, but does not succeed. They revitalize her thanks to Hilda. Hilda then gets them all in her spaceship where they go after the XGP15A-II(Outlaw Star) Hilda is later killed by the pirates.
Melfina

She is found by Gene, Jim, and Hilda. She is oringal naked in the briefcase she is in, but in american version has a sort of bathing suit on.Melfina is an android that is very human like, she has emtions and feelings. She does not know her past, due to the fact that she was cryogenically frozen and can not remember anything.She is the navigator of the Outlaw Star, she is the only way you can fly the Outlaw Star.During the whole series she tries to find out her purpose. Gene promised to help her.Emotions for each other(Gene & Melfina) are shown thruogh out the series.
Suzuka
Age:21

She is an assisin.She has never not assinated someone after she says she's going to, she had only missed Gene.She uses a wooden sword that can't be detected on weapon detectors and it can cut thruogh walls and people and other items.Later tags with Gene and the others on the Outlaw Star
Asiha Clan-Clan

She was a very high rank in the Ctarl-Ctarl, but it's kicked out and is stranded at Blue Heaven.She is very strong and almosty able to beat Gene, Jim and Melfina put togather. She can transform into a tiger sort of creature.She tags along with Gene and the others on the Outlaw Star. Broke and no where to go and they owe her money she says.
Fred Luo

Fred is the sorta of off man. What I mean is, his Gay. He has a crush on Gene(to his dislike) and Jim, which he hopes he will grow up soon.His able to get some illegal weapons for Gene or for his shop. He occansinaly finds an old box of caster shells for Gene. He also is Gene's weapon person.
Gilliam II
Age:No age is computer
First appears in episode:4
The onboard computer for the Outlaw Star. He gets scared for his future due to Gene's piloting skills. Gilliam II is often annoying. To take care of the ship there are millions of small soda can sized with faces.
